You could also use my arrangement oritendo! I just posted it a few days ago - http://www.mediafire.com/?d807ya42vklaun4 (PDF). My sheets tend to have a lot of dynamic markings, so if you like a less cluttered sheet you could use Hugomeister's. But mine's good too!  ;)

P.S. I realize you don't like mediafire, but if you ask Hugomeister for his version, his will be stored in mediafire also, so... yeah.

Please bear with me for a little bit - I'm a total newbie with Finale (truly). I write my arrangements in Sibelius, and I've been wanting to submit music to Ninsheetmusic for quite a while now, so I've been trying to learn how to use Finale Songwriter so I could submit my arrangements in the .mus format. Now comes the problem - when I import the MIDIs of my arrangements from Sibelius to Finale Songwriter, all the clef markings disappear after the first system on each page! The playback is still fine and the notes still have the appearance of being in the clef I wrote them in, but all the clef markings disappear past the first system on each page (re-read those last 6 words for clarity; I chose those words very carefully to describe what I mean). Now, this wouldn't be a problem if I knew how to fix it, but I'm a newbie with the program so I'm clueless.  The user guide wasn't really helpful either. I also tried to use the clef change tool to put the clefs back in, but since technically I'm not changing the clef since the notes were still in the clef I intended them to be in, I get nothing, as it's a clef change tool. Please help me!

To make a PDF, all you need to do is install a PDF creator program, such as PrimoPDF. When you've done that, to make the PDF from the Finale score, just go to print and, instead of printing to the printer, select the PDF creator from the list.

Thanks Maestro! Big help  ;)

Wow...that was simply amazing! Just listened to your Tetris "A Theme" - by golly, it was full of wondrous Russian grandeur! I especially liked the part with those fast sixteenth note runs on the right hand while the left hand pounded out the melody.

Ok, so I'm currently working on making a two-piano duet arrangement of the Wild Pokémon Battle theme from the Pokémon animé. The problem is that I'm not sure how to credit the composer and arranger with respect to the Ninsheetmusic sheet music formatting guidelines. Obviously, Junichi Masuda composed the original Wild Pokémon Battle theme for Pokémon R/B/Y on the Gameboy, but Shinji Miyazaki re-arranged Masuda's song into the animé, which re-arrangement I am arranging. So essentially, my point is that I don't think the standard Composer/Arranger format would work here, rather a Composer/Producer/Arranger perhaps? Please provide me insight - thanks!

Rules of the internet!? Hehehehe, gotta love Rule 10101: "If it's a turtle, it's a Squirtle!"

Person1:"Dude, that turtle just sprayed water at me!"
Person2:"Dude, rule 10101."
Person1:"Oh."

Thanks for the compliment Clanker! Good start on Sky Tower too - I just finished an arrangement of it myself! You can get a look here:

To Fabbemannen - lolololol that made me laugh pretty good. I sure wish I could play as well as that guy. My name is simply a portmanteau (a combination) of Bespin (a planet in Star Wars) and my first name (Ben).

I use Sibelius 6, albeit not the full version, as it costs some $500. I'm perfectly fine with the almost just as good Sibelius 6 First version which costs $100. I recently tried to give a shot at learning to use Finale Notepad 2008 so I could submit my arrangements in the .mus format, but my experience in trying to write using that program was so infuriatingly frustrating that I gave up trying to learn it. I couldn't even add 8va or 8vb, which seriously limited my options in arranging.

Quote from: SlowPokemon on June 23, 2011, 08:10:53 PMPMD Blue Rescue Team. Because I feel like crying later.

So anyway I got chosen as Mudkip, and the description fit me perfectly -_- it was like, "you're an amazing person who is really nice but you can be gullible sometimes", etc.

I think that I actually like this game better than explorers of time/darkness. I don't know, they're both great, but this one has a more classic feel to it.

I feel the same way SlowPokemon! I guess it's because PMD Blue Rescue Team just felt more real than PMD 2 - you could honestly, truly believe that YOU woke up one day, mysteriously transformed into a Pokemon in PMD 1, because the game is perfectly designed to produce that feeling. In PMD 2, however, you can obviously tell upon approaching the end of the game that the Pokemon that is supposed to be you is merely just an avatar, a representation only in personality, making PMD 2 less personally impacting because, unlike its predecessor, you no longer are held under the conviction that YOU are that human-turned-Pokemon.

Oh I was distrustful of mediafire too the first time I clicked on submission links on Ninsheetmusic. It's actually a very safe site as long as you have a good pop-up blocker and as long as you know which of the download links on the page is the one that actually gives the file. Don't click on the ads on the site and you'll be fine.

And yes, I adore Mystery Dungeon music, especially from Red/Blue Rescue Team, which is why I took the liberty of arranging a few pieces. These aren't the only ones I've done so far; I've got Sky Tower, Sky Tower Summit, and the Parting song already complete. I just need to make them presentable and in accordance to the Ninsheetmusic formatting guidelines.

Just re-did N's Farewell in 6/8 - thanks for the tip  ;). I also noticed that my MIDI and SIB links to Great Canyon and Sinister Woods were corrupted somehow, so I re-uploaded them and they're fine now.
