Nakah gave you some new music, here's a few old songs with a fresh coat of paint (almost all of the Animal Crossing songs and some major ones from the original Legend of Zelda) applied by The Deku Trombonist.  These are all replacements by TDT.  If another arranger's name is listed, it just means that the changes were only cosmetic in nature so the original arranger is still shown next to the arrangement.  If the song is getting a new name (Labyrinth --> Dungeon, I mean REALLY), the original name is shown.  If you still get the old version of the song, CTRL + F5 or clear your cache.  Enjoy!

[NES] The Legend of Zelda "Title"
[NES] The Legend of Zelda "Ending" - G-Han
[NES] The Legend of Zelda "Dungeon" - G-Han (Replacing "Labyrinth")
[GCN] Animal Crossing "1:00 P.M."

http://vgsb.web.officelive.com/default.aspx

The person who runs this website creates "song books" for different games by gathering sheet music from around the internet and putting it all in one PDF file.  Many of the sheets have come from this site (many of them are mine, god knows why he wants my crap).  He does give credit to all arrangers my listing their names with their sheets, so at least he's not claiming the stuff as his own.  I have contacted him letting him know I do not have a problem with him using my sheets (like I said, they're crap anyway and it's not like I own the rights), but I have requested that he at least link to our site in some way so people can find the original source of the sheets (he has removed the NinSheetMusic link from the bottom of all our sheets).

I wanted to post this here in case there are people on the site who do have a problem with him using your sheets without asking.  He has a contact page on his website so you can get a hold of him (and the site was updated as recently as March, so he's probably still active) and try to work something out.

Edit: Just confirmed he'll be linking back to us at least.  Seems like a nice guy with good enough intentions, I just wanted to give everyone an opportunity to decide for themselves.

Feedback / Super Mario Galaxy - End Title Duet

This song's sheet is missing on the site.  If anyone has it (or if ALPRAS can give me the sheet), I can fix it.  Thanks!

READ ALL OF THIS OR I WILL FEED YOUR SUBMISSIONS TO AN EXCEEDINGLY METICULOUS GIRAFFE.

THIS UPDATE, REVISIONS COUNT AS NORMAL SUBMISSIONS.  PLEASE INDICATE IF AN ARRANGEMENT IS A REVISION.  OTHERWISE I WILL ASSUME IT IS NEW.

THE GUIDELINES TO FORMATTING ARE HERE, THEY ARE INCREDIBLY EASY TO UNDERSTAND: FOLLOW THEM.  IT WILL MAKE MY JOB SO MUCH EASIER AND I'LL LOVE YOU MORE.

For the next update. ;D  You may post a single post with 5 songs you think are ready for submission.  I will go through this topic over the course of the week and check the submitted songs.  Hopefully around next Sunday-ish, I'll have a selection of songs that are ready for upload and I'll update.  NOTE: Due to my new and ever-changing college schedule, this update may take more than a week to get up.  Just be patient!

SPECIAL NOTES:  If one or more of your songs did not get accepted in the last thread, you may repost those and FIVE more songs for submission. Unless I tell you otherwise.  Also, I'm willing to accommodate special interests, but don't just assume you have special permission if I haven't given it to you explicitly.

(All Submission topics are still in this thread, just no longer stickied.)

vvvvvvv I'm not being this nice any more.  Format your sheets correctly on your own, or I will reject them. vvvvvvv
I now have Finale 2009, so I will be able to fix small formatting issues with songs if that's the only problem.  But PLEASE make this easier on me and just format it correctly yourself the first time.  The easier on me you all are, the longer I'll be able to keep up updates without hating myself and getting frustrated.I WILL ALSO CHECK FOR COPYRIGHT AND NEW NSM URL SO PLEASE EDIT THIS, TOO.  I don't care if the guidelines say it's optional.  I want it.  It looks nicer.
^^^^^^^ I'm not being this nice any more.  Format your sheets correctly on your own, or I will reject them. ^^^^^^^

Any extra posts will be deleted.  I will edit your post with rejection reasons, or to tell you it's accepted.  I may accept both or just one or none of your submissions.

So, in a lovely step-by-step process:
1.  Perfect up to 3 songs for submission
2.  Make sure they are formatted PERFECTLY
3.  Post links to the submissions here, mus and midi
4.  Did I mention I want them perfectly formatted?  Repeat steps 2 and 3 if you didn't listen to me
5.  I will review submissions and either accept or reject, editing your post as necessary
6.  Around Sunday, I'll close the thread to submissions
7.  When I start the update, I'll close the thread to revisions
8.  All of the songs I have accepted will be uploaded and we'll start this circus again

Got it?  If yes, make your post and submit your songs!  If not, PM me with questions.  Don't muck up my nice thread.

Questions I've Received (or made up):
-Do I need to break up a medley? No, it counts as one submission
-Do I have to include copyright and the site URL?  Yes.  The copyright is just <Publisher> © <Year Published> without the <> obviously.  The URL is http://ninsheetm.us/
-How do I make a MIDI? Open the MUS in Finale, click File>Save As... and choose MIDI from the dropdown list.
-When can we submit? Now!  Just do it.
-How can I respond to your comments in my post? Edit your post or PM me.
-What if I disagree with your rejection comments? Edit your post to appeal.  If it starts getting too long-winded we'll take it to PM.
-Can I still submit after you've swept-through the posts? Yes.  You can submit up until I post that the thread is closed for submissions.
-Just wondering, if someone's made their own Submission thread, do they still have to post in here? If so, then why?  Yes, they still have to post in here.  It is much more convenient for the updater if all of the songs that are up for submission are in one place.  We don't have to click through a hundred threads, many of which are dead, and figure out which songs each person has that are ready for submission.

Site News / NinSheetMusic's Official Facebook Page
October 31, 2009, 02:50:00 PM
Hi all!

Like NinSheetMusic?
Use Facebook?
Hate checking this site constantly for updates that just never seem to happen?

THEN TRY THIS!

Thanks to a suggestion by Cobraroll, I've gone ahead and created a Facebook page for NinSheetMusic that you can join.  It will (theoretically) be a great place to share comments on NSM, share videos of you or people you know playing NSM arrangements, and you'll receive an update whenever NinSheetMusic actually gets updated!  What could be better?

Just go here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/NinSheetMusic/322254365439

Comments, suggestions, and whatever else are welcome.  Enjoy!

Special Note: I really wanted this announcement to come with a music update as well, but the uploader is currently down.  Don't worry, it's being looked into, but I don't know when it will be back up.

Special Note #2: The uploader is fixed, but I don't know when I'll have time to do the update now.  It will come when it comes...

Well, guys, this is the last update from me for awhile.  Here's a collection of new and revised submissions for you.  I really have enjoyed updating the site this summer (it's been much better than in the past), and I hope you've enjoyed the new and improved songs.  I may be able to sneak in an update at winter break, but chances are I won't be able to update regularly until next summer.  There are a lot of talented people on this site and you should be proud of your hard work!  I'll still try to check up on the site every once in a while, but my full efforts will be going into my studies at college.  See you around!

READ ALL OF THIS OR I WILL FEED YOUR SUBMISSIONS TO A SALAMANDER WITH AN EVIL TWIN.

THIS WEEK, DON'T POST REVISIONS OF EXISTING SHEETS IN THIS THREAD.  THERE IS A SEPARATE THREAD FOR THIS AT LEAST FOR THIS WEEK.

THE GUIDELINES TO FORMATTING ARE HERE, THEY ARE INCREDIBLY EASY TO UNDERSTAND: FOLLOW THEM.  IT WILL MAKE MY JOB SO MUCH EASIER AND I'LL LOVE YOU MORE.

For the next update. ;D  You may post a single post with 2 songs you think are ready for submission.  I will go through this topic over the course of the week and check the submitted songs.  Hopefully around Sunday-ish, I'll have a selection of songs that are ready for upload and I'll update.

SPECIAL NOTES:  If one or more of your songs did not get accepted in the last thread, you may repost those and ONE more song for submission. Unless I tell you otherwise.  Also, I'm willing to accommodate special interests, but don't just assume you have special permission if I haven't given it to you explicitly.

(All Submission topics are still in this thread, just no longer stickied.)

Any extra posts will be deleted.  I will edit your post with rejection reasons, or to tell you it's accepted.  I may accept both or just one or none of your submissions.

So, in a lovely step-by-step process:
1.  Perfect up to 2 songs for submission

Site News / Update, Monday 3rd of August 2009
August 03, 2009, 03:55:24 PM
Here's a batch of new songs for you to welcome the month of August.  Expect another update this week with a bunch of replacement sheets.

I thought I'd make a special note for those who haven't looked at MaestroUGC's Virtuoso arrangements yet.  These are special, original arrangements of songs that are written for advanced pianists.  They're definitely at least worth a look and listen even if you don't think you possess the skill to play them.  I just thought I'd say something in case anyone had seen them and wondered what the Virtuoso tag was for.  Enjoy!

[N64] Jet Force Gemini "Eschebone" - mantis985
[PS2] Dark Cloud 2 "Flying Warship Death Ark" - mantis985
[N64] The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time "Lost Woods-Virtuoso" - MaestroUGC

READ ALL OF THIS OR I WILL FEED YOUR SUBMISSIONS TO AN AMBIDEXTROUS CHAMELEON.

DON'T POST SONGS THAT AREN'T ALREADY ON THE SITE IN HERE.  WHAT ARE YOU, STUPID?

THE GUIDELINES TO FORMATTING ARE HERE, THEY ARE INCREDIBLY EASY TO UNDERSTAND: FOLLOW THEM.  IT WILL MAKE MY JOB SO MUCH EASIER AND I'LL LOVE YOU MORE.

I've noticed a lot of people seem to be focused on replacing the old, crap sheets on the site with new, less crap sheets.  And I'm all for that because it improves our image, so I'm making this thread where you can make a SINGLE post with your revisions to songs already on the site.  Similar idea to the other submission thread, except this one will keep going for ALL TIME.  Maybe.  Go ahead and post all of the revisions you have.  Depending on how many are submitted, I may just take a single person's for the week or I may do them all.  We'll see.

I have Finale 2009, so I will be able to fix small formatting issues with songs if that's the only problem.

Any extra posts will be deleted.  I will edit your post with rejection reasons, or to tell you it's accepted.  I may accept all or some or none of your revisions.

So, in a lovely step-by-step process:
1.  Perfect your revisions to sheets for songs already on the site
2.  Make sure they are formatted PERFECTLY
3.  Post links to the revisions here, mus and midi
4.  Did I mention I want them perfectly formatted?  Repeat steps 2 and 3 if you didn't listen to me
5.  I will occasionally review submissions and either accept or reject, editing your post as necessary
6.  Usually, but not always, coinciding with the weekly update, I will add all or some accepted revisions to the site, replacing the originals
7.  Once I do this, I will clear your revisions and any discussion of them from your post in this thread, and you can edit in new revisions as you see necessary
8.  This process will repeat as long as people feel the need to prove themselves superior to others.  This thread will never be deleted (well, at least as long as I keep this going).

Got it?  If yes, make your post and submit your revisions!  If not, PM me with questions.  Don't muck up my nice thread.

Questions I've Received (or made up):
-Do I have to include copyright and the site URL?  Yes.  The copyright is just <Publisher> © <Year Published> without the <> obviously.  The URL is http://ninsheetm.us/
