Bro, seriously. It was the only tv show that has ever made me shed tears. Even after three full run through of the entire series, I still had some water works going last night when I watched the series finale.

I teared a bit when Toph cried. It was so sad seeing Toph show that much emotion and have Sokka say, "I don't think Boomerang's coming back... It looks like this is the end." 

My sister, who is 12, out of nowhere said, "I have a milk fetish."

"I'm sorry, it's just, I don't want my baby girl to leave home. You know how hard it was when Nathan left. I was depressed for weeks!" Kim's mother said, through teary eyes.
With a hug, Kim repeated, "I'll be fine. I promise."
"Focus on your studies. When I was your age, I partied hard. It was a blast but my grades sucked."
"OK! I'll only drink one beer per party!"
"Woah, woah, what?? You drink?" Her mother said, her eyes widened by the statement.
"I'm just kidding mom! Hahaha! Geez!" Kim laughed.
"You'd better be kidding. Now, you better get going if you want to make it on time!"

Kim got into her car and started up the ignition. She gave one final smile to her mother.
Her mother smiled back and made the "call-me" sign. Kim laughed as she drove away to her new life.

Just in case, plot overview.

The series will focus on Korra, a teenage female protagonist from the Southern Water Tribe and the current incarnation of the Avatar, who, according to the president of Nickelodeon, will be "hotheaded, independent, and ready to take on the world." She has already mastered the elements of Water, Earth, and Fire, but needs to master Air. The character was partly inspired by Avatar Kyoshi of the original series, who the creators say was very popular among fans. I wish, like others, that some loose ends were tied. What happened to Azula is my main question. She's my favorite character. I know she got locked up but did she escape? Did she stay silently? Makes me wonder.
