Just downloaded Notepad 2012. Thanks for the help guys! Now I can actually read the .mus files on this site.

Is there a convenient way I can convert my .xml files or some other format to a .mus without the assistance of other people?

Feedback / Other than Finale?
February 19, 2012, 05:22:31 PM
From my experience with this site, I've noticed that most of the users use some form of Finale and largely deal with .mus files. I and a few others, however, use Musescore, bascially the free version of Finale. Musescore cannot handle .mus files, but from what I know, .xml files are compatible with both. Why not use those?

I live near Seattle, Washington. Can you use INSANE as my map tag?

By signing in do you mean sending you the PM of the song choice and stuff?

Yeah! *High fives*

EDIT: Can I be added to the competition list? I would suggest putting the list of people in the first post, to save some searching. Thanks!

Okay, good. I PMed you a link to a version of it. Already concocting ideas in my head!

I can provide a PDF and midi. Xml is preferable though. So do I PM you the song that I think I'll be waltzistrating?

Wow. I feel like such a noob here. But I do have lots of experience arranging and composing and stuff like that. Unlike most of you, I use Musescore, the free version of finale. I think that I would have fun with this and would like to give it a go. Despite my newness, am I allowed to participate in this competition? I think it would really help my music skills.
