My dad decided to replace the router/modem. And I'm 9 hours away from home. I can't set up port-forwarding now. =\

Since this is all copyrighted music, it's illegal to sell it.U

The problem with a manhunt is that balancing is difficult with the number of players that we have available.

I'll put my server IP up when I get that going.

It's been pretty non-laggy for the most part.

Playing on creative mode typically ruins a community experience as well.

Quote from: Winter on October 10, 2011, 11:13:27 PMWell, are you running 1.7, or 1.8?

Or any of the 1.9 releases. <_<

When I tried to connect, I had issues with finding the host. So it looks like port forwards are messed up somewhere.

I see no reason why they shouldn't be able to talk more. They have been decidedly lynched. But they have yet to be lynched. It's that time of knowing they will die, just not quite yet. They of course cannot reveal any new information however. So it can be discussed further. If the host is timely, there shouldn't be much of an issue.

I watched the game the whole way.

Juber pulled it together at the end very well.

I made the same mistake in rushing my vote on the final day which blew things for the humans in TWG II.

The lack of activity in TWG I'm finding to be seriously disturbing. This was a game where everyone was notified the details of when it would happen. I understand that things come up. But dedicating yourself to this should have resulted in more activity.

Quote from: Winter on September 27, 2011, 09:03:38 PMWe are using a very old version of Simple Machines Forums. In time we may upgrade, and if that happens, we'll make sure to check out the features for the message system, and see if we can add a few more options.

Lolwut?

SMF 1.1.14 has been released

I'm not seeing how this is considered old when it was released this year. <_<

Quote from: metroid/bkfan on September 26, 2011, 09:38:02 PMAre you okay with the last line of my last reply though??? So you don't have to be extremely good or take a long amount of time learning but still with similar results.

I don't particularly care about much of the front end. If I really need a piece I take what's potentially on the site or on other sites, and then change it to fit me.

Quote from: metroid/bkfan on September 26, 2011, 09:31:38 PMWho would want to spend up to a year learning that???

Anyways, I don't know anyone who can do the octaves in Freezeezy Peak, and some other crazy stuff there.

Ok. Scrap what I said. I would like for the virtuosic arrangements (ie. the ones I listed) an easier arrangement to accompany it.

I know a few people that could do the octaves in Freezeezy peak. Out of all of it, that's one of the most strenuous. And I said a year because I'm not the best pianist and it would take me that long to get up to where I could get the piece down perfectly.

Stars are typically given to denote something being better.

Quote from: metroid/bkfan on September 26, 2011, 08:58:02 PMOK. This is what I meant. These sheets aren't playable unless you are a 20 or more years virtuosic master. Some of the arrangements of these chords are dreadful. Maybe it would be better to have a limit to the difficulty.

I completely disagree. I could play most of these sheets within a year if I practiced. And I'm hardly a virtuosic pianist.

They are playable at tempo. They are just more difficult pieces. It just takes more practice.
