a lot of sites spurred off of nsm as their owners started on nsm like evilsqueaky's site, gamemusicworld and even apollomix... sadly none of them seem to have a high amount of activity...

Nintendo / Re: Resident Evil 5: Wii Edition anytime soon?
« on: January 30, 2009, 10:42:54 PM »
maybe it'll be ported on the next generation system... but if it had been planned for wii, they would've announced it as well (capcom would have to be an idiot not to announce a game for the number one selling console...)

considering RE5 comes out in march, absolutely no chance for a wii version, maybe the wii will get another side game like umbrella chronicles but nothing like RE4 or 5...

Nintendo / Re: games in 2009???

first-party... one at most, i'd probably say we'd have to wait until 2010 for there to be a return of (announcements at least) the big ones like zelda or mario... and if i see another mario sports game i'm going to just slam my head against a wall...

ds is getting overflooded with turn-based strategy... so if you like that genre like me, then ds could be in good use...

i'd say one new mod at maximum if any... this site needs to return to having more members frequent here, ever since the loss of the server that's been a big problem, there's frankly no need for a mod, the forums are kinda empty at the moment...

if only finale was the only reason for the downfall of this site...

anyways... anyone who doesn't have problems with it... there are finale 08 torrents around that you can use... and probably eventual 09 torrents as well... but then again, not everyone wants to go down that route...

Help! / Re: Difficulty
« on: January 05, 2009, 03:05:15 PM »
first of all... duets CAN NOT, be simply the addition of a second piano just to add another part that can't be played with only one piano, it must be four separate parts in total (two different right-hand parts, and two different left-hand parts) and there should not be a significant difference in the difficulty (of whatever level) of the two different piano parts...

any level of difficulty below impossible is generally accepted, assuming all other parts of the arrangement are deemed good enough... i.e i think that the majority of players can not stretch beyond a 9th interval, thus giving intervals of 10ths, 11ths etc, can get a little uncomfortable and not difficult because of the substance of the music, but because of the inability for the hand to stretch that far...

and remember, if you're not a piano player, something that sounds nice via finale, sibelius etc. does not always result in something that will sound even close to as smooth or nice while playing on the piano...

sorry for so much text lol...

Nintendo / Re: Sell my Wii?
« on: January 05, 2009, 02:58:02 PM »
well i'm at the point where I'm just keeping my WII for first-party games (when/if they ever come out)...

but if you don't want to bother with that, just sell it and get a X360 like everyone else has said... there is a greater variety of games now slowly starting to show up on the 360 (probably a result of the PS3 tanking...) but yeah, 360 is easily the best choice...

Nintendo / Re: mario golf or mario tennis release???
« on: January 03, 2009, 08:27:27 PM »
really? i loved mario power tennis lol, with powershots off it became like mario tennis 4 n64...

and i believe camelot was the one who did both the gcn mario golf/tennis releases, but they haven't been very active on the gaming front recently... so it likely won't be coming soon, or they could just release another golden sun...

also the stupid porting of the gcn games to wii is continuing and mario power tennis is one of the games along with pikmin and dk:jungle beat, so u could get a rehash of the older versions if you wanted...

Hmmm, whats all this about gay porn and whining and bitching?
First of all, sending someone a link to any kind of porn is a really lame joke.
Second of all: Get over it.

agreed the older days were much better imo...
