-While I agree that m4 lh b5-6 should be Ebs and not Gbs, I believe that m10 lh b5-6 are Gbs and not Ebs
-I hear what static hears b6 of m12 LH, but I hear b5 as Ebs. Unsure if you changed them when you changed b6, but they should have stayed.
-I'm hearing m24 and m28 as a similar rhythm. b5-6 have the bass hitting the beats strongly and a lighter 8th percussion over top of it. You could transcribe that as octaves on beat and a single 8th on the off beats, ignore the secondary percussion altogether and focus on the bass, or perhaps something else. I would suggest making the two consistent, however.

That's all I've got, nice work on this sheet. It turned out quite well.

Project idea: New Beginnings
This includes songs songs that would be the first you hear when booting up a game (e.g. intro songs, or title screens if there is no intro), first level themes, and any song with the word first/beginning in it or the words that indicate start of something new(e.g. First and the Last from Xenoblade)

Hmm, it should spit out some sort of error if it doesn't upload right. Did you hit the submit button at the bottom of the page and not get an error message?

wow, it's
been a while, hasn't it.

Alright, liked your suggestions. Removed the A in m10 b1. It may be a weird polyrhythm, but I remember poking this every possible way when I initially arranged it. If you've got specific suggestions on how it can be improved, I'm all ears.

I never actually played the OG version (only prime trilogy) so I had no clue if it looped. YT footage didn't exist, so I grabbed a "back up copy" and it seems like it cleanly loops to m1 so that's what I did.

Left the time sig as is. I think it's easier to read this way, and incorporating the percussion feels a bit distracting and hard to play quietly without disrupting the feel of the rest of the voices. I'm satisfied with it as-is.

Everything else fixed

I've used multiple dates for games that were re-released with identical OSTs (e.g. Wii vs 3DS xenoblade), but it's not something required. Not something we'll discourage either.

edit: that's a bad example because I don't think I've ever done that lol

Well, I've been arranging for 8 years today (I feel old, that's nearly a quarter of my life). For that special occasion (and because I had some spare time) I threw this together. Would have made it a piano solo but I wasn't able to easily massage the vocal line into the LH so I left it as-is. If I submit it, I'll fix that and maybe add some more variations to spice up this kinda repetitive piece. I intentionally wrote it in 6/4 instead of 3/4 because the song is genuinely impossible to parse consistently if written that way. Besides, the 3/4 isn't incredibly obvious until the heartbeat comes in later so I think it's fine.

Ooooooooo another Umineko fan!

First glance at the notes looks pretty solid, but I think you're missing a few notes in the chords, especially in the intro. Nice use of cross-staff notation tho, it works well here.

Quote from: Fantastic Ike on March 04, 2022, 07:05:43 AMCould also do a spring update (e.g. grassy levels) or even an N * S * M  update (like tracks that only start with those letters). Food for thought (hey that could even be a project although I think we've done that before)
the
N
S
M
update sounds really fun tbh

Thought I'd chine in on the whole m39+ section 16th notes.
I'm personally in favor of keeping it as is. The main reasoning for this is the layers don't feel like they are added into the mix equally. The constant line still seems to be the driving force throughout each of the layers added on and is easy to pick out in each repeat, unlike the others.

oh lol reading is hard

Just finished it last night and it's pretty great.
