And given by what you said about those Metroid bosses, I kinda wanna hear your reaction to some Mega Man bosses. xD
That hard? Have you played Metroid Fusion? Nightmare is hard because his last phase moves randomly and can only be avoided by space jumping (try that with a circle pad). SA-X is hard, but nowhere near impossible. Beat it in a few tries. But it feels brutal.

Help! / Re: What key/time signature is this song in?
« on: May 13, 2014, 09:17:58 PM »
I'm arranging the super metroid soundtrack (musical songs not on site) and need the time signatures and keys double checked

Crateria--space pirates emerge 4/4, C minor

Brinstar--Overgrown with Vegetation  4/4, C minor

Spore Spawn  4/4 ? ? ? ? ? (completed)

Hostile Incoming (before boss)  4/4 C sharp minor?

Kraid/other bosses  ? ? ? ?   ? ? ?  ? ? ? ?

Theme of Samus Aran: Galactic Warrior  4/4 Changes a lot, not sure what keys it's in

Mother Brain  7/8 ? ? ? ?

credits/ending 4/4 starts in C# minor, but I think it changes.

Already did: Brinstar (Red Soil Area)

It seemed really bad after superstar saga which has minimal tutorials and no companion to explain every new thing you come across. And the enemy designs were better in previous games. The worst part of Dream Team was climbing up Mt. Whatchyamacallit the second time in the dream world. That entire part could have been cut in half with no negative effect on the game.

Forgot about the hand-holding. That was the worst part. I've heard a lot of people say it's the worst and other people say it's the best.

I'm planning on doing the entire super metroid soundtrack. Well, just the musical ones that are missing from the site. Here's the first:
Super Metroid

It's my least favorite of the series. It just seems to be drawn out way too much, and the giant battle feel way to scripted. And the story feels bland and simple when compared to superstar saga.

--Twin Golems (chrono trigger) Impossible unless you spam elemental attacks

--Nightmare
--SA-X (Metroid Fusion) Both bosses demand perfection and can kill you in only a few hits. Nightmare killed me more than any other                    .                                    video game boss my first time through.

--Pete (Kingdom Hearts DDD) The boss you are able to fight after beating the game. I gave up after tow tries he killed me in 45 seconds.

--Ridley (Super Metroid) Easily the hardest boss of the game. You can hit him with anything, but he has so much health.

If you're having trouble with both in the same register, I'd move the guitar up an octave. There's no problem with having the melody in the bass.
Yep. That's what I did with Lavos. Works well and you don't end up with any fingers in knots.

Definitely do some stuff from Awakening. Best soundtrack of the series and we only have one song on the site.

I have no clue how I got this. But I know it works.

I'm playing through FE: Sacred stones, so I thought I should play one of the songs on piano. So I played Lyon's theme and now am incredibly depressed.
