I actually liked Secret Rings a lot. It was challenging and, except for a few of the bosses, was far from stupid-hard.

the King of Red Lions was proportionate to the characters, almost. But the pirate ship was tiny.

It seems like they tried harder to make Toon Link fit than Pirate Ship.
But why is Pirate Ship so frickin' tiny?

Yes but both Toon Link and the Pirate Ship stages still clash horribly.

I didn't notice any CPs "skipping" around the track (i.e. inexplicably appearing in front of/right behind me) in Double Dash, though some of them went abnormally fast, often easily outstripping Bowser's big kart (name eludes me) in karts like the...red shell one, say, or Toadette's one, on long straightaways. It got kind of annoying.

Yeah, everyone knows Brawl online sucks like no other. So how is Mario Kart Wii's (apparently) so good?

Are there tracks in the Wii version that have certain things missing from multiplayer (like the extra fireballs in Double Dash's Bowser's Castle, or the extra balloon-things in Rainbow Road)?

AGREED. I am wondering, right now, if it is possible to beat The FINAL Final Battle (Hard) with Ike; Mario seems very proficient with the use of a certain EVIL yellow cape in preventing recovery. Sonic and Snake don't help at all with their extreme edge-hogging skill.

Me, too. Did you use drop-blocks on the top that reappear and seal exits?
That's one of two stages I've built. I'm really not impressed with Stage Builder.

Well, fortunately my friend doesn't have time to get that good with anyone.
Does anyone else hate custom stages? I mean, maybe it's just the ones that my friends make, but they seem really cumbersome, especially those with ceilings.

Have to? I use Ike a lot actually, and not just out of nostalgia for Roy. He's my only effective counter against Snake as used by my friends.

That happened to me a lot in Double Dash too, especially during 150cc. And Mirror Mode, which made it all the more confusing and painful.
