Sorry for the wait! It's great to see more SMT representation!

- How about a "con pedale" marking?
- The descending melody at the end of m. 3 resolve on an A at the beginning of m. 4 which is missing in the right hand part.
- I think the second layer notes in m. 5 and 6 could just be simplified to half notes (instead of quarter+rest). The rests should also be lowered a bit so they're not confused with the top layer
- Thoughts about putting the F-D quarter notes in m. 8 in the left hand instead? It'd be easier to read (and probably play, too).
- In the second half o m. 10 I hear the LH go A-E-G-E
- I'd suggest going over m. 12 again and putting some of the harmonies on beat 3-4 into the right hand; the left hand is missing some bass there.
- Any particular reason for writing the RH harmony in m. 10 but not 14?
- Pretty sure I hear an A in the chord in the RH of m. 15 beat 3
- Last eighth note in m. 15 should be B

Frothy Waters

Whoops, forgot to reply in here earlier! Changes look good, this crazy sheet is approved ^^

I think this is fine, that in the formatting guidelines is meant for collections of tracks. This is just one track with an interesting form and it makes sense for the measure numbers to correspond in the two variants.

I shall leave my approval then ^^

Cool cool, looks good to me! Approved :)

Quote from: Latios212 on March 08, 2024, 08:50:27 AMTo confirm that this submission has not been forgotten about - Radiak, Xiao, and I have been making good progress going through this sheet at various points over the past few months. Should have stuff to show here sometime soon(ish)!
Quote from: XiaoMigros on May 16, 2024, 07:38:57 AM..aand ta-da! thanks both for the extensive time reviewing :)
I apologize for not posting in here earlier with any details, but yeah there was a lot of back and forth that would have unfortunately taken forever on the forums. I'm satisfied with this sheet in its current state and am almost ready to approve. A few small final things as I scan through the PDF:
- Overlapping noteheads need readjusting in m. 34 beat 4
- The cross-staff beams in m. 44-47 could use a bit of adjusting, in particular having m. 46 first half angle up and maybe adding a bit more space between staves so the latter ones in m. 45/47 don't overlap the top staff?
- I forget if Radiak had any final thoughts about the "I miss you" in m. 89, but I'm fine with it as written.
- Some notes/accidentals are a bit squished like in m. 49/51 (between beat 2.5-3), 81 (between beats 2.5-3) and 86 (the natural), mind checking the spacing is all up to date?
- (I do think crediting the dads in the special thanks section is a bit excessive ahaha)

This is a really solid sheet! Only a few very small things to comment on, this already looks great.

- The staccatos in m. 2/11 are floating in the PDF
- Thoughts about using an Ab in the chord of m. 20, similar to the measure prior?
- I think I hear the Bb at the end of the phrase in m. 22 as an octave lower?
- I think the Absus > Ab movement is important to capture in m. 33's chord symbol

(It's cool how far this piece deviates from its home key of C)

Quote from: Bloop on July 19, 2024, 03:12:31 AMThe only differences are really there in pedal (so when the delay effect happens or not), but for notes the loop could happen after m35 too. If you want, I could add an optional D.S. marking if people want to play without pedal?
I'll leave it up to you! It'd probably be awkward to notate different pedalling on a repeat, so I agree leaving it all written out is fine. I think another performance note (optionally with an optional DS marking) at that point could help regardless so the performer doesn't go scouring the rest of the sheet trying to determine if any of the notes are different (as I would likely do).

Quote from: Bloop on July 19, 2024, 02:57:59 AMIs there a specific reason you switched the F-A and C around in beat 4.5? It makes it harder to play than the other way around.
nope, just a mistake lol

Quote from: Radiak488417 on July 19, 2024, 10:36:40 PMNot much to say here, really nice work! My only suggestion is to tie beat 2.5 to beat 3 in the LH in m7/8/11/12/16, since the kick doesn't hit on beat 3 there.
Thanks! Ah yeah you're right, listening to the bass as well. I assume you meant to include m. 15 as well.

Quote from: Kricketune54 on July 11, 2024, 08:59:01 AMY'know, most people normally wouldn't think to do m1-3, but the way you arranged it sounds so tonally right for Twilight Princess lol
not the first time I've thought this on Bloop's TP sheets hahah

Looking great! Just a few miscellaneous thoughts before we finish up:
- It did occur to me that it might be cool to introduce some 16th notes into the rhythm starting around m. 10+. But I suppose that's what you were going for with the gradual pedal in and pedal out, and it makes sense to me
- There's a random small line at the bottom of the end of m. 29
- Is there no way to simplify the structure? 5 pages seems like a lot to notate what's basically 4 measures of repeated material in the main loop, with some variety. Though I get if there are subtle differences.

Thanks for checking!

Quote from: Bloop on July 10, 2024, 01:36:18 PM-Since there's not a snare hit on beat 2 (just the hi-hat), maybe you could leave out the bottom note in the L.H. in that beat from m5 on?
I think I wanted to leave that in so it sounds less empty... it gives the accompaniment a bit more of a driving rhythm.

Quote from: Bloop on July 10, 2024, 01:36:18 PM-There are a few places where it'd be hard for the player to hold the R.H. bottom notes (m6, m9 and m18). Maybe you could use another voicing there, or do you want the player to use the pedal for those?
Oh yeah, pedal for sure since jumping to hit the notes is easy. I've added a pedal direction after the intro

Quote from: Bloop on July 10, 2024, 01:36:18 PM-m31: Just as an alternate suggestion, you could write the guitar part as F-C, A, F-C, instead of full chords, so it's a bit easier to play.
Yes, good idea! Updated~
