Debate topic for next Tuesday: Are cannons truly valid instruments for an orchestra? Or should they be replaced with something safer, like Tesla coils?

Showing different voices is important, but keep in mind sheets are meant to be read and played. It looks something like a mess to someone trying to read it right now. As such, from a visual standpoint (right now I can't listen to the original) I'd suggest taking out the redundant-looking layer (the one with eighth notes beamed upwards, since the notes there are already being played in other payers) and just leaving the chords + sixteenths, similar to the third system. Perhaps with accents on the sixteenth notes you want stressed where the melody lies.

But I'm not listening to the original atm so I'm not 100% sure, just some thoughts.

Quote from: Olimar12345 on October 02, 2016, 10:27:25 PM-In m28 the highest tie is colliding with the first layer. I can adjust that one, but other than maybe moving the one in the previous layer down a couple pixels, what else did you have in mind?
That's all (and same goes for the left end of the tie in 27).

Quote from: Olimar12345 on October 02, 2016, 10:27:25 PM-(not mentioned) I left the unison as it looks in the LH m4 because I thought it looked weird to have it shown with the open note head and a tie, even though I wanted the note rearticulated before being held out again (due to conflicting layers). Thoughts on this? I don't do this elsewhere in the piece because this is the only instance where it would be an open note head against a solid one.
Had no problem figuring out what it meant when I opened it yesterday, and it looks fine. It's good.

Yay! (Title's fine, by the way.)

All clear!

Quote from: braixen1264 on August 12, 2016, 01:30:49 PMMy only current concerns with this arrangement are stuff like positioning of rests/ties, but my Finale is broken or something so I can't seem to fix it.
Fixable now?

Hi, wow, it's been a while since I've had time to feedback some subs. I don't anticipate having much time this upcoming week either >_>

Anyway, great sheet here! One suggestion I have - inverting the chords at the end of 10 and 14 (more specifically, moving the top note down an octave) because right now they're obscuring the melody. The way you arranged it with the harmonies to emphasize those particular notes is great, though.

Oh, and the chord in 11-12 - sounds a bit dissonant unlike the original. Middle note should be a G, I think.

I've come across a lot, but one of my favorites:

My first step past 100, and first Ranger sheet. One of the "frantically wreck your DS's lower screen by madly drawing circles" themes. I think this one turned out quite well, haha.

I hate it when anything dry like rice or bread or cereal gets soggy
