For partner, I'd again say Charmander, mainly because the facial expressions throughout the gameplay really help with experiencing the feels.  Name-wise, I'd just leave the partner's nickname whatever Pokemon he/she is.  (Actually, something possible is making the partner the opposite gender from the main player.  Throw in romantic attachments and whatnot. idk lol)

You know, the John Cena file I deleted was actually Turtwig (Player) + Cyndaquil (Partner). I chose that randomly because I just wanted the memes.

Anyway, I think it'd be better to move LP discussion somewhere else, just to keep it organized so I can refer back to what y'all say.

My player was a Riolu and my partner a Charmander.  Now it's lvl. 100 Lucario and lvl. 100 Charizard.

Charmander is the best partner.  In-game emotion pictures improve the game greatly.

I frickin love that game, so fire away! (I will say though, I once found this video playthrough, showing only the cut scenes and "important" battles, eliminating all the dungeon crawling.  It still took 5 hours.)

I've been playing Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga on Steam.

It was my absolute favorite game when I was younger.  Played it for hours on end on the Wii (and before that, I played Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy on the old Xbox. )
When I saw this game was for sale on Steam, along with 10+ other old SW games, I couldn't resist.  The whole bundle was on sale for $18, while the original price was $220something.  I've been getting so much nostalgia recently 'cause of this. http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/2319/Star_Wars_Complete_Collection/

It's nice seeing different people's tastes. I personally find a lot of bands rather boring, to be honest. I like David Bowie mostly because his stuff doesn't put me to sleep. Perhaps it's the opposite of Dudeman's tastes, I like the "raw and rough" part. To me, a lot of classical music (as in music from the classical period) is too smooth and refined for my liking. You can debate all you want about the harmony, melody, and structure, but if someone simply doesn't like it, there's nothing you can do about it.

Yeah...when ever it comes to stuff that is "classical"/orchestral, I think I prefer stuff written sometime after 1900.  My piano teacher keeps pushing for me to play more "classical" pieces, when really I'd like to play the songs I find on NSM and Musescore.

2-3 years. Relatively new in our standards.

Also, what do you have against Fairy-types? It's the nerf to Dragon that we severely needed.

That is exactly why I don't like it.  Dragon is my favorite type, and I'm used to all the types used during gens3-5.
