I think I might host a vanilla server...if so I'll post the IP here for whoever wants to join. Want to keep it close knit with maybe 10-15 players

And I don't say kiddies in a derogatory sense. I enjoy kiddies, and if any of you kiddies are interested, I have candy bars and popsicles in the basement, which I will gladly lend to you for free. PM me for free popsicles.

No hiatus. We all sign up now and by the time a game actually gets going, school will have had its first week or so done with for all of the kiddies.

Hail Satan!

A Game of Wolves (Or a Clash of Wolves, or a Storm of Wolves, a Feast for Wolves!, A DANCE WITH WOLVES, WOLVES OF WINTER, A Dream of WOLVES)

   12 players

   4 Humans
   2 Maesters -The Seers
   1 Ser -The Guardian
   4 White Walkers -The Wolves
1 Nobody -The Vigi (An ally to the Humans)

You can PM one another, talk in thread, but Night talking is OFF. Day is 48 hours. Night is 24 hours.

Pretty simple layout...trying to stick to the roots of the game. I may have made it one-sided with 3 blue roles and 4 greens....7 vs.4....but I want to hear your feedback as well since I haven't attempted a hosting idea in quite some time. I'm up for modification. I may also implement additional twists over the next 12-24 hours, when I have more time.

Also this thread is open to all other hosting ideas of course, so let it begin!

Wait is this host signups or player sign ups? What game is being proposed for TWG 82? And what about LXXXI? 81!??

Also I just duped this thread with my own thread, oh my gawsh, I guess I should post my idea here instead.

The Werewolf Game / Hey guys look in here

There's a TWG game going on at the place where I originally learned TWG, and they need a few extra players because their TWG community is a bit inactive right now. If any of you are looking to play more TWG, come take a gander at this one and sign up if you wish:

I don't want to take away anything from what's going on here, and I still intend to play in the next TWG coming up(or maybe I'll give hosting a shot), but the game I just linked is short on players and it'd be cool if some guys over here could join in on some extra TWG'idge over there. Nah mean?

Well, it seems like you're already doing one thing wrong, and that's thinking about what to say XD

The reason a lot of people hate small talk is because it seems pointless, aimless, and superficial. That's because a lot of the things people say just end up being more of rehearsed formalities, repeated points of interest, etc. But if you come at it with a genuine interest in how the other person's doing, I've found it can be a lot more interesting. Don't worry about what specific things you say, because then it ends up being less interaction, more "waiting for your turn to talk". Just open up asking somebody how things are going, and go from there. If they provide a substantial response, talk about that. If they don't, and just return some similarly generic response ("Not much, what's up with you?"), don't be afraid to talk about yourself. But after that, just remember to ask about them. If you were talking about your job, ask them about theirs. Schoolwork, same thing. Some new show you're watching/game you're playing...well, you get the idea. My point is, ask genuine questions, and answer questions genuinely. If you actually end up talking about something substantial that you can talk freely about, that's great. My best friends are the ones where that happens automatically. But you're not always going to be talking to your best friends, or even people you have much common ground with. But, either way, you're both people, you both have days/lives that have been going some way or another, so there's always something to talk about.

Best description I've read in a while. Usually the initial formalities are just a way to break the ice. Although it's fun to throw people off by going into a conversation as if you already understand where they're coming from, and that can  be quite useful for getting others to open up about their actual lives.

Now we can finally sta-.....oh wait.

VICTORY!!!! Good wolf strategy am i rite?

A game without items or complex special roles sounds refreshing. People may aspire to being more active if they don't have to constantly consider all of the elements involved when you're playing with items and blues.

On that note, I humbly request to be in.
