Going through the forums again is bringing back a ton of great memories. I missed it a lot. Also it's kinda sad to see that members that were around when I used to be on the site have been inactive for years, like GreekGeek and Dahans.

I finished Ace Attorney Trilogy and now my life is void of meaning

At least until I get my next paycheck so I can get Apollo Justice and the other 3DS AA games

I'm digging this. Also, we have similar tastes in music. You planning on doing the other Bowie albums too?

Hellsing Ultimate is extremely good if you've not seen that. Millions better than the 1999 anime

Basically Nazis vs Vampires vs Catholics

Quote from: Maelstrom on August 21, 2017, 02:49:48 PMI can't see it happening for quite some time. The dev cycle on these games is ridiculous. Also, are you implying sm4sh didn't receive a lot of time and effort? Brawl/sm4sh have spoiled us. Most fighting games come with >20 characters. Besides, which would you rather have, more characters, or new skins? They chose the latter, and ran with it. If you want skins, go for mods. Well, when people find a new way to softmod Wii Us, that is.

I'm implying that a lot of content had to be cut to span both the Wii U version and the 3DS version. Brawl had Subspace Emissary and a pretty good single player mode. Smash 4 does not. Also, all of the sound effects with the exception of DLC and new characters were reused from Brawl. I have to give them a hand for making new stages though, but I feel like the development process from Melee to Brawl was much more productive than the one from Brawl to Smash 4, even though the time between releases was nearly the same.

I think they'll put more effort into the next smash game than they did for Smash 4, just because it'll be restricted to one console again. Hopefully that means more effort into better costumes and game modes and stuff too. Like Link, for example, might have the BotW skin in addition to the classic one. Maybe we'll get that cool Mewtwo skin from the movie too.

Hit up that Houston life. Low cost of living, high average income, tons of jobs. Only downside is that it feels like Vietnam in the summertime.

Metroid??

What's everyone's favorite games? Mine's a tie between Super Metroid and Fusion. Both had such a great atmosphere and soundtrack. I think Fusion was the first game I played that I turned off because I was so scared.

Prime 1 is a close second though. It captured the exploration and tone aspect almost as well as the 2D ones, but the controls were a turnoff for me (at least on the GC).

I'm almost done with my collection of CIB Metroid games. I'm only missing NES Metroid, Metroid II, and Prime 3.

Hey all. I wasn't sure where to post this so this seemed like the best place.

I've been away from the site since high school (more than 4 years ago) and I've decided to come back. It always meant a lot to have a community of people that I could talk to and that enjoyed the same things that I did, and I never really found that anywhere else. I've kinda lost touch with the members that I talked to a lot almost 5 years ago, but now that there's a bunch of new faces around I'd love to get to know everyone, and re-meet some old members. I think I even have some arrangements on my computer that I've buried, untouched by time, so I'm gonna try to submit those as well.

Like I said, I'm not really sure if this is the right place to put this, so move the mods can move it or something if need be.
It's good to be back. Feel free to send me a message or something if you want to chat.
