lol sorry if knowledge is useless to you. But we'll always need McDonald's cashiers and Mario-type plumbers so I guess if you really want to, you can find someplace to be in this world.

Now as far as the math and chemistry is useless's bullshit. Because I understand how certain things work and how to use math, I never have to memorize much to be able to solve problems. The biology majors and their lack of math are remembering how to use/when to use 20 formulas for one test and I'm watching THE STRUGGLE. If you also really want to understand science, you can see how certain laws are derived from basic calculus. Again, I am watching the non-math students suffer in thermodynamics.

So math doesn't help you with finances? What is involved working with finances? Why shouldn't you read about some actual wise person's views on life? I took a lot of art history courses and they helped me with making art. The actual use of knowledge is to be able to apply it.

Also you forgot about grammar. The easiest way to not sound like a dumbass is to have good grammar. Which you learn by GASP...reading.
If you open your bulletin, you should see the purpose of an education. Hint, it's not just about manners, which you should learn outside of school by socializing. As NYU put it, "A university education aims not only to produce high quality scholars, but to also cultivate honorable citizens." If you're lucky, you would go to a school that does one.

Quote from: KefkaticFanatic on September 29, 2016, 09:26:11 AMdon't worry, it just gets worse when you enter the real world of weekday 8-5

Complaints about being fat have gone up 500% since I started talking more to people who work full time.

what do you even learn in school omg
It's all about the marketing -.- between education and profits, one has to be a priority and it's not education.

Anyway I cooked fried rice using sausages but to mess with Saria a little, and use up some ingredients, I put a really spicy sausage with two non-spicy ones, sliced them and put them in the rice. I tried some just now and all the ones I got were spicy. It burns -.-

Quote from: K-NiGhT on September 18, 2016, 09:27:26 PMHow much do you guys think is the average cost of an engagement ring?

A decent one would set you back ~$1200 (estimate based on what people on my facebook mark as their favorite rings---gag). But remember rings in general suck, especially if you have to wear gloves for work. If that's the case, don't spend *that* much. I hate jewelry in general but like art, so I really can't say much more. I heard about couples ring shopping together but I'm not sure if that would work out for you.

Geez, people talking about getting married already and here I am making my dream guy(s?) in the Sims and using the CAS generator to see what the offspring would look like. Relationships are otherwise ok

It's kind of awkward for under 18s 8)

There are also these 18th/19th century paintings here (because he's an art dealer) that I probably shouldn't accidentally punch a hole through lol.

So someone wants me to babysit his kid for one whole night and drop her off at school tomorrow because he had to suddenly take a business trip to France for a week. So because of poor planning, I get the keys to his loft-style apartment for a week and permission to go there and hang out.

Time to throw a party? Hahaha.

Really depressing article.

QuoteCarson at the time acknowledged the surgery's shortcomings. "In a technological 'Star Wars' sort of way, the operation was a fantastic success," he told the Associated Press in 1989. "But as far as having normal children, I don't think it was all that successful."

Carson's campaign did not respond to repeated requests for an interview.

The twins' mother, Theresia Vosseler, described in a subsequent interview with a German magazine being racked with guilt for seeking the separation surgery that left her sons so impaired she had to send them to live in an institution.

In 1993, Vosseler told Freizeit Revue that she flew to Baltimore with "a healthy, happily babbling baby bundle and came back to Ravensburg with two lifeless, soundless, mentally and physically most severely damaged human bundles."

"I will never get over this," said a bitter Vosseler. "Why did I have them separated? I will always feel guilty. . . I don't believe in a good God anymore."

I suppose it was easy for Carson to overlook the ethical boundaries if the parents were desperate enough. Aaaand this guy wanted to be president at some point.

Quote from: Pianist Da Sootopolis on September 09, 2016, 09:58:25 PMIt isn't really his job; he volunteers his own time to do all this. Nobody OWES you NSM, he hosts this domain and website and runs it out of his own desire (and likely his own pocket). While I'd love to have a more active admin, the idea that he's obligated to do so is silly and entitled.

Yes, he own it and pays for it, but while we're on the topic of asking for power...has anyone not done this yet?

Anyway, a ton of stuff has been bothering me for a while about this place. Buuuut real life calls.
I got 32 views on my photo of the Bayerische Staatskanzlei overnight? That's really nothing but then all this featured photographer liked it in addition to some other skilled but unknown photographers. The other one that was interviewed by the BBC liked all my other photos but probably hasn't seen this one yet. *waits*

trying to stand out as a photographer is hard

not mooching off the popularity of something else is hard

photography is expensive

Quote from: Dudeman on September 02, 2016, 09:16:21 PMThere are Chinese people in Canada?

You're probably just trying to be funny, but there are ___ people everywhere. Ideas where there are only one group of people living in a country is just a pipe dream of racist people -.-
First night where I'm not working on photoshop until 6-7 am in the morning. I'm not sure what to do right now

I found this love columnist recently and the advice is gold.

Here's the tag for all his articles:

This one column lol:

Some of the stuff is NSFW and also 18+ so don't blame me if you click on something out of *curiosity*
