Hi, it's me again!

I was wondering which of these you would prefer?

I feel like the first looks nicer, but the second is easier to play.

Dekkadeci

I prefer the second notation because it reflects how I transcribe pieces: it shows the 3-3-3-3-2-2 rhythmic grouping better. I don't think I've ever seen the first notation anywhere, which makes it a lot harder to read for me.

With that being said, given https://www.ninsheetmusic.org/forum/index.php?topic=10492.0, I bet loads of people will want a third option.

Libera

For that rhythm, this would be how you should write it out.

You cannot view this attachment.

The reason you should write it like this is because it shows the beats clearly.  Both of the notations you gave obscure both beat 2 and (more importantly) beat 3.

Ninja'd by Dekkadeci, but this is the third option haha.

Ah, thanks! I thought there might be a third option, but I figured you would tell me even if I didn't ask for it. ::) I will look into that! It would be nice to not obscure beats, as I transcribed the piece in question because I'm having trouble playing the rhythms (I usually go from study by ear straight to piano, without sheet music in between).
