Hi everyone. I just registered.
So i've arranged a song from the NES version of Beetlejuice. And i would like to submit it to the site. How do i start?
I've written it on an online platform called flat. You can preview it here.

Unfortunately, I don't think I can download any music files from flat.io, so I think we'll have to do it the hard way:

  • Download Finale Notepad. Give out any amount of personal information necessary in order to do so.
  • Manually re-enter all notes from flat.io into Finale Notepad. Make sure to follow our Formatting Guidelines (https://www.ninsheetmusic.org/forum/index.php?topic=481.0) in the process.
  • Figure out how to extract a MIDI and a PDF from that Finale Notepad file. You'll likely need a third-party program in order to extract the PDF; I use PrimoPDF.
  • Submit all 3 files into the same entry in "NSM Panel" near the top of these forums.

If the formatting doesn't quite come out the way you like it, you can ask for help in https://www.ninsheetmusic.org/forum/index.php?topic=685.0.

I found another way to do it that will take less time. And it should work with finale notepad. You can download a .xml file form flat.io. In finale, import a musicXML file, and it will create a sheet for you. You will then need to edit and change the sheet so it looks better (and fits with the upload requirements), but the general structure should be there. Hope this helps!

Thanks alot! I will be trying it soon.
I haven't seen any sheets for this title yet, so this is the first one for this game.
