Nice work once again!
  • m17-18 I know it would look weird, but I think it would be better to notate the RH notes as dotted quarter notes (and beat 3 of m18 as a regular quarter note) to emphasize the spaces between them
  • m29-34 I think it is worth adding the harmonies to the RH
  • m37+ I think you can experiment more with the LH to get a more dynamic sound. This is just a mix of the two guitar parts, and you can take it as an example of what you could do:
  • m65 It might be better to just leave out the F

If you're referring to the harmony in the other Micro-Row sheet in that section, it isn't present in this song. The harmony was played by an electric organ instrument in the background that isn't in the sequel song and the main synth instrument doesn't play it either. As for everything else, I'll get to it as soon as I can.

Actually no, it's still there. Exactly the same as it was before.

Wow, I must be deaf or something. I swear I listened really closely multiple times to make sure it wasn't there, but I just listened again and heard it. I guess I'll re-add the harmony then.

While making the edits, I noticed that the bassline in m59-60 and m63-64 actually does the same riff as the guitar (although it's actually different in m64), so I edited that accordingly as well as all the other feedback. The files have been updated.

This looks really good, I'm loving your attention to detail on the articulations and note lengths and everything. Just a few more things:

    • m1: Move the mezzoforte to the left just a bit so it's centered with the first beat.
    • m23, 27: The F naturals technically should be E#s since its a chromatic approaching note to F#; but since this piece is pretty bluesy and uses a lot of F naturals I have no issues with you keeping them.
    • m27 RH beat 1: I would put a staccato here.
    • m35-36 RH: I hear this instead (also move the crescendo down a bit):
      Spoiler
      [close]
    • m55 RH Beat 3: I would remove the staccato on this note and maybe even add a slur to better differentiate this specific note's length compared to the others.
    • m60 RH Beat 3.5: There is another C natural here, but if you want to leave it out to better separate the melody on beat 4 that's fine as well.

That's all I got, great work.

I was actually already planning on making this edit, I was just waiting for more feedback first. You happened to be the more feedback.

So, I actually did that because of some feedback I got on my Micro-Row arrangement, back when it was still in submissions, that literally said to do the exact opposite, so I edited this one the same way, since the situation was nearly identical, so I think I'm gonna keep it that way. I do know the guitar is still playing a C natural there.

I've updated the files with the edits.

That's alright with me as well, then. I approve.

Looks pretty good, just three small things:

-I'd consider slurring the the first four notes in bar 8 and 16 just to really help differentiate them from the staccatos beforehand.  It just makes it visually clearer the intention, I think.
-Why does the chord change on beat 4.5 in bar 42 and 50?  It doesn't seem like it does in the original so I'm a bit confused as to why it's different in those bars to the other ones.
-Could the tempo marking be brought a little northwards so that it's not so close to the staff?

Oh, I was just following Zeila's feedback. I'll fix it and everything else as soon as possible. Probably tonight.

Just fixed that slur for you in bar 8 as requested.  Everything checks out here!
