Nice! I noticed this sheet needed replacing but had no clue when I would pick it up.

I hope these couple of points will help:
  • In m. 8, I'm hearing the 16th notes on beat 3 as triplet 8th notes (starting on the beat).
  • For the ending, starting from m. 14, how about including a rubato? Or perhaps a rit. marking for the last two measures?
  • m. 14 is missing a wolf howl marking I'm just teasing :P

In addition to the above, of which I agree with.  I think the only thing I have to say is about the ending left hand.  The way it's currently written will have it die out significantly before the end of the piece, leaving the right hand melody on it's own, whereas in the original there's a lot more bass action throughout those final few bars.  I'd consider adding some kind of tremolo or maybe just some re-striking.

To be honest this isn't half a bad idea and it's something that I myself might have notated in, in case the performer was feeling up for a bit of silliness, but obviously that's up to you.

Thanks! Yeah I just did it on a whim. Good catch with the rhythm, and I went ahead and added both those performance directions :P

I played around with it a bit just now, and I don't particularly like how re-striking or tremolo-ing distracts from the melody part. I agree that it would be great to emulate the prolonged heavy texture from the original, but I think focusing on the melody is more important, and a good powerful (but not too loud) strike of the low octave does keep going for quite a bit, so I've added an accent/tenuto on it.

That said, I don't totally disagree so I've left a performance note to leave it up to the player. Let me know if that all looks good.
