I think I'm gonna have to get a DSi, though it pains me. I have the original DS now, but my L button doesn't work, and sometimes the upper right portion of the touch screen thinks I'm touching it when I'm not.

All my gb's L buttons work perfectly and I've had my GBA for 7 years and the second gen GBA for 5 so I must have nabbed the good ones. ::)

Both my ds's L buttons broke.

But I did have my GBA for 2 years or so and no defects at all.
It didn't even get all that dirty.

Yeah, my old GBA still works perfectly, but I have no idea what's going oon with my DS. It must be some kind of manufacturing defect.

Yeah kind of like all the strumming bars on the Xbox 360 guitar hero: world tour controllers squeak at a very loud and high pitch when ever you strum them.
