mario power tennis

i recently baught Mario Power Tennis on the Wii, well im quite satisfied but there is one thing im worried about: its not different from Mario Power Tennis on Gamecube. Neither the graphic nor the gameplay was different. I really liked the game on Gamecube so I thought it would be a good idea to buy it on the Wii, but now i am not sure, if i would buy it again. Besides, it is really difficult to control and i have difficulty hitting the ball:). What do u think about it? Do u think it is a great idea to announce video games, which were announced on Game Cube before?
