finale notepad

ok i have finale notepad but i can't get songs in the right format 2 import. The site said midi files and xml files. Well midi files i can find and i have some but they don't work. but i can' find xml files of songs at all. i was wondering if any1 here could help me cuz the final notepad site is no help.

So you are having trouble with opening midi files with your finale notepad? If that's the problem then try and right click on the midi your trying to open and click on "open with.." and select finale notepad. It usually works for me.

hm... What does it say when your unable to open the midi file?

Didn't they add midi support in like...2008?

Maybe yours is older?

i got finale in like December i think or early this year.

umm what did it say? when i tried 2 do it the way u said 2 it said finale notepad could not open the midi. and the way i did it (importing) it said so and so file is not n XML format.

Hm.. try saving an Midi from this site and then opening it with Finale and see if that works (if you haven't already). If it works then there's something from with the Midi your working with. If it doesn't work then there's probaly something wrong with your finale (wether it's finale's settings or the version you have).
