This was after you manually transferred the ID profile from one 3DS to the other though, yes?  That would be impossible if one console was broken.

It's different with a Wii U. You need to contact Nintendo for aproval, but you don't need to go through a complicated procedure like the 3DS. If it breaks or something, it shouldn't be that hard to redownload everything. You will lose all of your save data, though.

It was created 4 days ago, and as you can see currently has only one subreddit -- my PMD GtI Hazy Pass duet. I was just curious if this was the doing of any of you guys or just a random admirer of the site.

Haha, it's actually me who did that! I using it to post arrangements that we have done in similarity of Bespinben's style (on Youtube) I figured we should have more recongition :P I will post stuff mainly on /r/gamemusic and /r/ninyendomusic. Hope that is alright for you guys :P

I'm in charge of Facebook. Winter is technically responsible for the YouTube channel but the YouTube situation is kind of weird at the moment.
