1) You need a drive that can burn DVDs. If your drive says DVD R or DVD RW on it you're probably fine.
2) You need a blank DVD R or DVD RW. A DVD RW drive can write to both a DVD R and DVD RW disc.
3) If you're running Windows 7, there's a burning program built in if you have an iso. If not, there are tons of other programs. Example:
http://www.imgburn.com/Now, what we really need to know is what you need burnt onto it. If you're trying to make it a video DVD, you need a video editor program like Windows Movie Maker, Adobe Premiere, etc to burn to a DVD, so on and so forth.
