I really get annoyed with the non physical/special split now. In Ruby I keep remembering that's not there yet and I'm just like "ffff wait no what's this move again"

agree. physical/special split was one of the greatest things to ever happen and playing without it is just odd.

but I know the elemental punches were special and ooooh that can screw people over. That split was seriously amazing.

Hey Nebbles, it's hard to remember if you can just remember one thing: it's not the MOVES that are physical/special, it's the types. Here:

The move will be special if you use a move that is type:
Fire
Water
Electric
Grass
Ice
Psychic
Dragon
Dark

It will be physical if you use a move that is type:
Normal
Fighting
Poison
Ground
Flying
Bug
Rock
Ghost
Steel

Agreed. Especially because Shadow Ball lowered Sp. Defense. Wtf, makes no sense.

Plus it makes Gengar meh when in Gen IV it's fantastic.

Gengar's one of the only special Ghosts during that time, but still, it would have been great for Psychic types who needed something against other Psychics.

I just had an epiphany! You know how in Pokémon B/W the back sprites of each Pokémon is super-pixely, even somewhat reminiscent of the days of Red/Blue sprites? Well I was thinking, when the enhanced Pokémon "Gray" version (title pending) comes out, the guys at Game Freak should re-do all the back sprites at high resolution, so that way when the camera zooms in on your Pokémon, it doesn't look like a pixely mess.

well it's probably a lot of work to have that many sprites. i believe they use the normal sprites, just inflated.

I reckon they did it on purpose to remind you of the old games. I quite like the pixelated Pokemon.

Flygon is my favorite because.. well, I can't explain. One, it's a dragon-type (read my sig), and two, I don't know why, it seems to have my kind of personality. I really hate it in the games, though, it is just so weak. XP
My second is Riolu. Aura for the win!
