Here's a tip: (what I did) enter the bug-catching contest pre-national dex - come in first to get a sun stone... evolve Sunkern, shouldn't be a problem.

but then that will decrease being able to up the Pokéathlon stats for sunkern.. it has 25 slots to be filled by Aprijuice and stuff
