Ampharos

That's cool. I always wanted to rebattle him in Gold; I guess I'll do it in HG.

Thanks. For a moment there I was worried, though. I almost needed to blow you.

DrP

I just dont like going through mount silver... gets borings after a while... speaking of caves, it would be cool to get them secret bases back!

Oni-Link

UGH!
I mistook my Jolteon's hidden power for Ice!
It was actually Electric, so when I used it on Garchomp...

Then it used earthquake...

Now I have to breed another one...

SlowPokemon

Hee hee, beat Red again!

And I forgot to post my Hall of Fame time - 20:42

Anyway. I'm gonna keep battling the Elite Four/Red again over and over.

And what are your guys' scores on your Trainer Cards?

Mine's 11069. Do you know what that means?

Fuck logic, that shit is boring, lame and does not always support my opinions.

I have 2.

Beat the Eliter Four.
And Collected 5 shiny leaves on Pokemon

SlowPokemon

No, not the stars or colors, those are obvious! I meant the place where it says SCORE.

Cobraroll

Quote from: SlowPokemon on August 05, 2010, 12:55:04 PMAnd yeah, Skuntank is like eighteen times better than Gliscor.

I'm sorry to object to this.

Gliscor has superior stats to Skuntank, save for HP and Special Attack. Gliscor biggest selling point, perhaps, is a STAB Earthquake and an immunity to said move itself (while Skuntank is flattened by it. Earthquake is the most commonly seen move in competitive battling). Gliscor can also learn Swords Dance, a move Skuntank would have killed for. Other advantages on the movepool side of things are Stealth Rock, reliable healing (roost), Stone Edge, Rock Polish, U-Turn, etc, etc. It's also immune to Spikes and Toxic Spikes, and it isn't outclassed by another Pokémon which fills the same niché (who in their right mind would choose Skuntank over Drapion?).

Also, Skuntank is stopped dead by Steel types. Admittedly, Gliscor doesn't like Gyarados much, but can always work around it by building another move pool. Skuntank's only option against Steel types is Rock Smash.

Yes, I'm still around from time to time. For quicker response, you can reach me by PM, or drop by Smogon to say hi. I go by "Codraroll" there, because of a bet.

DrP

I have two stars too, but I havent found the shiny leaves yet... i still have to do that, though

Oh.
My score is...
I'm too embarrassed to say it.
Anyway, isn't it AWESOME how Red just vanishes after you beat him?

EDIT:
DP, what's your second star?

SlowPokemon

The stars are...

  • Defeat the Elite Four
  • Collect five Shiny Leaves on one Pokemon and speak to Lyra/Ethan in New Bark Town
  • Defeat the records on all ten Pokeathlon events
  • Get a 100-win streak in the Battle Tower
  • Complete the National PokeDex. You need to capture all Pokemon other than Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, and Arceus, giving you a total of 484 in your PokeDex.

The records in the Pokéathlon events... I had to use Raikou for the Hurdle Dash

SlowPokemon

I've done only the top two on that list. That is, I have two crowns and I have beaten the Elite Four. xP

I want to know your score, Oni and Dr Pamplemousse, and Roz... tell me! :D
