Original post to follow.

Well, it's really unoriginal, and not very good, but it's my first composition so I'm posting it.

Night Journey
MID
MUS

It's called Night Journey because I composed it while thinking of chapter four of The Will to Go On. It was almost called Karen and Hypno. ;D

The Strange Boy
MID
MUS

The Strange Boy for Ensemble
MUS

This one's written specifically for the Strange Boy. It's, well, strange. It, too, is very plain and not so good, but I had fun making it, so that's what matters.

Criticize or acclaim me, please! ;D

Fuck logic, that shit is boring, lame and does not always support my opinions.

I like it it just needs more like.. background stuff?

SlowPokemon

(That's called bass ;D) Yep, it just pretty much sucks. That's fine, though. It's only my first one and I didn't need it to be perfect or even good. xD

Concerning your composition...
muhahaha.....

Nah, I would never be mean to you. Anyway, it was good. But there's one thing I suggest: Night Journey... what comes to your mind when you think about the word night journey? Your composition mainly focuses on the fact that the night is creepy. That's good. But what about some tension? Some heavy chords? The more things you try, the better you will become! Otherwise, well done! ;)
Check out my arrangements! I mean it! Check them out!

SlowPokemon

Indeed! This one was really simple, and it was meant to go along with chapter four of my story The Will to Go On. (I'm writing the Strange Boy's theme at the moment, Winterkid...)

Of course, perhaps I should be concentrating more on writing the story than the music... but anyway.

That's fine! I think you should concentrate on both... your writing skills and your composition skills will improve. :D

When I am listening to a song, I try to come up with a story that goes with it...
Which is why I'm sometimes inspired to write stories because of songs.

Night Journey was okay, but I liked the Strange Boy's theme.
A remix of either of them would sound amazing.

Now, whenever the strange boy shows up, you have to post the link to the strange boy song...
And I'm sure you can come up with more story that would bring back memories of Hypno...

Wait, is that same Hypno actually gonna show up again?
It's dangerous to go alone, take me with you! [JUB has joined the party.]

The Strange Boy's Hypno was the same one Will released.

Also, my next composition will be called "Karen and Aaron" since Eusine already has a theme.

Typing this as I listen to the Strange boy theme, I think it's much more detailed than the first one :)

It sets a good mood, kind of reminds me of.. Super Mario 64, and something else I can't think of of the top of my head, I like the trill, never used one in any of my songs, I like the ending a lot too! I was thinking that the second to last chord could be taken out? I was expecting the last chord where the second to last one was... Idk why.

To me it sounds like some walking carefully through a hallway, It's pretty good, much better than my first compostition, which I might post someday.

Nice job!

Oh yeah, the first one XD I listened to it like a few days ago, but don't want to re-download it, what I remember about it was that it was in minor and the 7th was sharp, something like that, which I liked cause I use that in a lot of my songs, like my first composition too!

SlowPokemon

I like the quirky way it sashays from note to note myself.

The opening says to play it "Quirky (note=130)".
