Audacity

I recently downloaded Audacity, believing it would help my arranging skills. But I can't get any sound from it. If someone could help , that would be great

did you open a sound file like .wav or .mp3?
if yes, when you hit play there's no sound from it?

i'm not understanding what you mean.

Oh, nevermind. I was just using a MIDI file which didn't work. It's all good
