Tell you what. After the 13th (when I'm done with FSM's requests), I will personally rewrite your arrangements in my Finale 2011 so that they'll look all pretty and have all the ottava, expressions, dynamics, cross-staving, and what-not that you can't do in Notepad. It'll be my gift to you, for being awesome and arranging PMD stuff.

By the way, are you sick of having to upload a new file to Mediafire every time you make a revision to your arrangements? I sure would be. If you are, then I'd like to inform you there is much friendlier form of online file storage: Dropbox. The advantadges of Dropbox over Mediafire are manifold: 1.) You can do direct linking, meaning the link you post here on NSM goes directly to the file itself instead of having to go to Mediafire and click "download"; 2.) When you revise an old arrangement, the link you posted on NSM "updates" itself, so you don't have to re-upload files everytime you make a revision, unlike Mediafire.

I really suggest trying out Dropbox: http://db.tt/HbLXRYn

Ok haha thanks. I was actually thinking about switching, but never got around to it. But how do you get the file's URL? I read the instructions and it says to right click it and select dropbox, but theres nothing there...

EDIT
Nvm I figured it out. For somereason I had the shortcut of the mud file instead of the actual file. Here they are

A Wish for Peace

Defend Globe Ending

At the End of the Day

and a new one...
Pelipper's Island (Though I think this one is fine)

Pelliper Island is pretty much "Top Menu Theme" minus all other parts and harmonies. As such, the time signature should be 6/8. I know this because I've recently arranged "Top Menu Theme", which you can see here: [PDF]

(If you don't know already, 6/8 does not mean 6 eighth notes, it means 2 dotted quarters. In other words, 6/8 is a time signature in which there are 2 beats per measure, with 3 subdivisions per beat, effectively eliminating any triplets if you were to write the song in 2/4. Look up "compound time signatures" for more info)

So basically, you already arranged it. Haha it was messed up anyway, and only took me about 20 min to make. I dont think I can do a 6/8 time signature in finale anyway

Notepad has 6/8, but it can't change key signature mid-piece, which this song does.

Quote from: Bespinben on August 06, 2012, 07:35:17 PMCompletely understandable. The focus of piano lessons are primarily towards performance, not creation. I pretty much learned all my music theory here on NSM, haha :P (that's a shout-out to you pumpy_heart ;))
Shit, word. Bubbles if you have any questions about theory and accidentals and whatnot, drop me a message.

I can help anyone with questions about theory as well..
