Jompa, while Haruhi's order is fun and crazy because it doesn't make any sense, the lack of chronology will repel new members to the series rather than bring them to it.

Unless that's what you were trying to accomplish??? Is Haruhi beginning to be too mainstream for you?

You don't need to cross it out; I understand why you feel that way. I think the chronological order is more intelligible and appealing.

No, Jub, I just feel like that isn't the order that was intended. I like the broadcast order, because like its name says, it's the order the series was broadcasted in. And it doesn't lack chronology! It's just ep 00, which was aired first so that people would get a taste of the show before it actually started, and then later on showing how they made it.
I honestly think it would be more boring to watch it AFTER they showed how they made it, because the humor of the episode comes from shock value.
The episode works kinda like a pre-air OVA.

And what's called "the Haruhi order" is the chronological order anyway.
The Kyon order is the broadcast order, and then there's some other order, for the DVD or whatever, idk.

And Slow; the reason I crossed it out is because I actually DON'T feel that way:
No order of The Melancholy is bad! So the chronological order doesn't suck.

After writing that I realize that it isn't really the broadcast order... sorry..
Basically, it's chronological with the exception of episode 0, which actually was aired first - So at some point I referred to the broadcast order, and confused myself into believing that it was the order I preferred.. Big misunderstanding people

So now you know: this is the order I like! Chronological is the best!! (but I think adventures of mikuru asahina is funniest if watched first)
