I don't know man, the moment I finished composing it I just thought "Oh crap, it's just like a Banjo-Kazooie song, damn it.". I tried for something original, don't know what happened.

A fun little 12/8 song. Well, "12/8" is just how I notated it. It should probably be 12/16, because 12/8 puts it at 250BPM.

It feels too short, but I don't care much about that right now. I'm busy dealing with other things, such as preventing myself from playing "Crystal Caves (Race)" at 220BPM (which kills my hands in the process).

Hey, thanks! I don't imagine it necessarily in a Nintendo game (I need a higher quality sound font for that lol), but I tried to make it sound like some kind of decent sounding battle theme.

Anyway:

I feel like this it the most generic "main theme" I could possibly make. I feel like it just works so well. I composed the main theme about 2 months ago, but I haven't shown it until now. This variation - (1) - is mostly just me messing around with a chiptune sound font.

Back to good ol' MIDIs. This song hardly counts as "Generic East", because that melody only plays very briefly. The rest of the song is entirely different.

I was originally trying to make some mock-classical piano piece or something, but eventually I said "SCREW IT. I'M MAKING SOMETHING EASIER.", so I made this instead. Incidentally it's October, meaning that the "Spooky Manor" atmosphere is very appropriate.
