Video for reference:

This is a pretty empty duet; there's at least one hand doing nothing at all pretty much everywhere. Have you tried condensing it into a piano solo?

I did think about making it a solo, but I accounted the banjo's part along with the melody, which I thought'd be hard for one player to play it all at once. I tried my best on making it as filled up as possible, but from how I listened to it, I got what parts I could hear and added them in. I'm still new on writin' these sheets, I'm still tryin' on makin' it so it's possible (and I suppose easier) for the pianists themselves.

I'm not going to force you to do one thing or the other, but here's a bit of perspective:
- The purpose of a piano arrangement isn't always to write all the notes down on piano staves. Inevitably when working on a solo sheet you'll have to end up condensing or omitting something or other. And that's okay, since you're aiming for something that feels natural on the piano, and it can still emulate the original.
- Logistically speaking, piano solos are generally easier for people trying to learn stuff. Probably most of us video game pianists don't have an extra buddy AND piano to work with :(

It is true I try hard on emulating the original. Taking something out makes me nervous on if someone would point that sort of thing out or not. I'd agree with you on the part of having to have someone to play with on these sorts of sheets and I'll put it into thought next time. Thank you for the feedback on this. It's just the beginning, so I'll be working on improving and thinking on what'd be better for future sheets. Thanks again!

No problem! Let us know if there's anything we can do to help, like discuss where it would be good to include/omit/move around certain parts.

I also strongly recommend condensing this into a solo piece. If you want help with that feel free to ask, as latios said. In my opinion, it's not worth making a song into a duet purely for the banjo. If the vast majority of it can be a solo, I'd say either adapt or omit the other parts. It's up to you, but I personally don't feel good leaving this as a solo piece.

Archiving this for now. Feel free to submit a solo if you wish, and to reach out to us for help if you need anything.
