I need a program that can edit Mp3s, is free, is Windows XP compatible, and doesn't slow down the compy. Waddya got?

*don't be offended if that comes across as rude, I just felt like saying it that way*

I use Audacity. If you don't want that, I recommend Wavepad.

Looks pretty cool so far, but two things...

1. What is "lame_enc.dll" and where can I find it?

2. How do I get the setup icon off of my desktop?

LAME is a high quality MPEG Audio Layer III (MP3) encoder

http://lame.sourceforge.net/index.php

or just search lame_enc.dll on google to find it

you need the LAME encoder to save files as MP3s

... and.. you delete it? lol
