You should meet my friends on east Long Island... they may have some comments about NJ -- "Has anyone ACTUALLY been to Newark and liked it??? I didn't think so."

Also I was born in Orange County, California and have lived there my entire life. However, between ages 4-15 I spend AT LEAST a month in New York avec mes grandparents... I could seriously get one of dem new yorka accents if I was dere for more den a week, maybe tree weeks... FORGET ABOUT IT!

It's fine. Jersey gets worse the closer you get to New York. The parts near Philly aren't as terrible.
