I'm just sittin' here. Reading my book about the Columbine shooting.
..For enjoyment.
Idunno, I just find it oddly fascinating and I was like 'wait is it twisted how fascinated I am by this.'
SO SHARE WEIRD THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF.
Also apparently it's weird that whenever I do caps on a computer I hit the caps lock key instead of shift.
I really enjoy the smell of wet dog
Oh that reminds me, I love the smell of sweat. Last year I was dating a cross country runner and he ran over one day and I freakin' loved how he smelled.
I'm actually 3 years younger than my real age. Likely caused by a low calorie diet when I was younger, bleh -.-
I'm confused of if that's a good or bad thing
I have a small bone (part of my frontal spine?) slightly poking out from the middle of my chest.
My brother does the cap lock thing :P
Well let's see.
I absolutely hate the smell of red onions, and refuse to eat any onions unless they're cooked into a soup or sauce something.
I associate people with colors.
I hold a writing pencil weird because I taught myself as a kid and never learned the right way--I hold it between my ring and middle finger.
My toes (besides my big one) curl the wrong way.
I listen to practically no music with lyrics or vocals unless it's a choir--98% of my 3000-odd songs on my iPod are instrumental/orchestral music. Anda good 85% is film music, seeing as I want to score films for a living someday.
My composing methods are strange and a bit haphazard. I either sit down at the computer and hum to myself some random notes, then kinda take it from there; or I play random notes on the piano until I have a basic melody, then go to the computer and spontaneously build on it.
The smell of things right out of the dryer is my favorite.
I've only been to one party with friends in my life.
Jub my brother has that too.
Slow define "party"
There's a lot of things that I do that don't make sense.
I can't watch movies if the colours are depressing. I watch movies/tv based on the atmosphere of it and if I want that atmosphere at the moment, content doesn't matter.
Also I base my food choices on atmosphere. Even though fast food you can just pick up and take home I still have the atmosphere associated in my mind and base my decision on that.
And sunlight depresses me because of bad summer memories from my childhood. So I can never really enjoy nice weather.
To put it simply: I base most of my daily decisions/mood on atmosphere/association instead of actual content.

It depends...I'm small but it seems like I'd be able to live a bit longer. Plus it's awkward being small and stick-like -.-
With very few exceptions, I only listen to game music. The exceptions are usually humourous songs, mostly parodies of others.
I've watched exactly one sports event in full in my life. It was a soccer match a few years ago.
I've only been to one concert. It was awesome, though: The Play! video game symphony.
I try to never say "You're welcome" to people because to me it sounds prideful
I don't have a Facebook, Twitter, or anything similar, and don't plan on getting one
I'm not allowed to own any kind of pet except for my fish
I cannot stand anything that has tomatoes in it, including ketchup

99% of the day, I'm either day-dreaming or humming a song quietly to myself.
I often will pace around my house for liek half an hour, just walking around.
Some of the songs I hum are of my own creation, and usually the lyrics I think up for them are pretty weird.

What's wrong with Wry? Let's find out!
- I will always try and make a joke/pun out of something no matter what.
- I have to pace around while talking on the phone or else I can't think.
- I will probably always have a random factoid about something I'm talking to someone about no matter how minor. May or may not tell it. Also relates to me remembering random things people say. When I bring it up they're like, "what you remember that?" I'm not a stalker I swear!
- Anxiety is my best friend when doing something publicly and I'll probably freeze up if I'm doing it by myself. (Strength in numbers)
- Butter side up
There's probably lots more wrong with me but I can't think of much more right now.
Shut up Wry I love your puns.
Well it's only a handful of people who enjoy them. Thanks though!
Also someone pointed this out to me today. I always eat with my left hand even though I'm right handed.
I do pretty much everything with my right hand even though I'm left handed. I use my left hand for eating and writing mostly.
Oh and when I'm on the computer I use the mouse with my left hand.
On that topic, I'm trying to make myself ambidextrous. No idea why. I probably can't do it, but it'd be cool.
Been doing it for years, it's not too hard once you get the hang of it. :P
:o Oooh
Making yourself ambidextrous is very possible, but it takes lots of practice. Just do everything with the hand you need to make ambidextrous, including writing, picking up stuff, eating, etc. For writing, you're going to need to practice it at home, and maybe use your right hand when you're at school until you get good enough with your left hand.
Weird things about me:
1. I play piano many hours a day. Most days I never go outside at all, just stay in the house playing piano.
3. No video games unless my cousin's over or I go to my cousin's.
4. I wield utensils by grabbing it like how you would grab a stick, with four fingers on the same side and thumb sticking out. Despite being Asian, I cannot use chopsticks.
5. I can pop my thumb joint backwards, and use it as a weapon to people who think it's disgusting and can't bear watching it.
6. I don't eat junk food except on rare occasions. I absolutely hate food with excess sugar, and my definition of excess sugar is a much smaller amount of sugar than what most people are comfortable with.
7. I'm technically overweight, but have very little fat. Am just tall and have a decent amount of muscle mass.
Can't think of anything else.

I have these really stubby, short fingers. I wonder why I'm a pianist.
I always wear either gray or blue.
I hate music with lyrics in it. Usually that's because I can't make out what they're saying, which is apparently weird.
I don't dance. At school dances I mess around on the school's piano under the music rather than actually dancing.
I've drunk tea and coffee once in my life, and both were in the past 2 weeks.
I like taking free things...
I came back with 21 bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion from China. I took about 19 pens from PwC's booth at once.
I'm sort of a klepto for free things (in high quantities)... however, if I have to spend money, it will be the cheapest price on the range for the product... but the problem is, I also have a "buying" complex, so my savings account is quite empty. Having this on a college student budget is NOT good. I only live on between $200-$400 a month.

I can never really tell the difference... im just oblivious to it all.
I have really bony fingers and old men feet.
No one has flirted with me before, or I'm just not aware of it. I doubt it though.
My fingers are medium length (still want them to be longer), but fairly muscular. Not bulging like my teacher's, but but just enough that it's noticeable. Also, my palms is huge and meaty. Get a lot of muscle from playing piano.
I absolutely love birds and their song. Can listen to them for half an hour before getting a bit bored. The variety in the melodies and how they shape it is very intriguing. There's this one bird that's been there ever since I remember, and he was singing the same song the whole time until now. Maybe I can sing it on tinychat...
I think I have long fingers... but they aren't skeleton-like like many others...
I have a hard time playing piano with my right hand because there's these things on the side of my fingertips that hurt if I go between black keys... ugh.
Another weird thing:
I drink about 140 - 210 oz of tea a day.
I have pretty tiny hands... then again, I'm 5'1 so of course they're not gonna be huge. Though for piano, I can at least cover from one octave to another if I have to stretch across the keyboard.

Well...most people usually get weirded out when I tell them that my favorite genre of music is Opera and that I hate Rock, Metal, Rap, and any music that uses electrical instruments. But I don't think that's weird.

Eh i think variety is good. It seems like it'd be easy to get tired of the genres you've left yourself. But that's imo.

My favorite genres are Classical and Romantic. I don't "hate" the genres you mentioned, but it's just not very attractive to me and silence would be better than having them on. Most people hate classical music.
Well my taste isn't going to change anytime soon. I like soundtrack's from movies like LOTR and from video games like Radiant Dawn. I just like the orchestral stuff. That's why I don't like the Halo theme, it would be a lot better if they left out the electrical stuff.
but hey, one man's meat is another man's poison, I always say.
People think I'm weird when I say my favorite genres of music are classical music, opera, and death/black metal. Oh and I enjoy country music. People think it's weird 'cause I despise the music I hear on the radio. Well I think it sucks, so get over it.
I usually only listen to video game music. Strangely, it doesn't matter what genre it is, as long as it's from a video game I like, I usually like the music. People often find that strange.

I'm a Film Soundtrack Obsessed Nerd to the point where it's ridiculous. I love the lotr soundtracks too.
I hate music with lyrics. People think it's silly.
I'm not even sure why. Maybe because I have issues making out what the singers are saying.
I don't mind lyrics, in most of the songs I have the singer/singers don't even sing in english.
Sometimes songs are better without lyrics, but sometimes the lyrics just make the song more complete; especially when they're sung by a choir.
True... I can think of at least one example of a piece that I personally like better with lyrics than I would without, and that's the SSBB title screen music.
Well, actually just one. >_>
Quote from: ChrisLeeFan1118 on April 06, 2012, 10:26:48 AMwhy I don't like the Halo theme, it would be a lot better if they left out the electrical stuff.
I feel that it does not overly matter what the instrument is, only that the music is performed well with the proper flavor needed. it's like people with different voices. Of course, if you use electrical instruments in classical music, like Beethoven and Mozart, it wouldn't work. However it might work in rhythmic or fast-paced music where the subtle qualities of music are left out in favor of stronger pulse.

I find in many songs, there are fast repeating notes on the same pitch that make room for more syllables/words, but when you take out the lyrics, it isn't as attractive.

What's worse, when it's someone I know, I say "HI!!!" and then they look at me weirdly...
...
SOOO, I pretend I saw someone behind him, and I look over him and wave to my invisible friend lol
I realized today that I have a very bad habit of people-watching. When I get bored, everyone around me just seems so interesting! I need a different past-time. :(
I people watch too... actually, last year when a friend and I went up to Saratoga for her grandparent's horse races (and to see a friend of mine that lives there), while waiting for them to be done checking out the horses we just people watched the whole time.
It's a guilty pleasure and way too amusing for my own good.
For some reason I avoid looking at people a lot. It just feels awkward and slightly disrespectful for some reason. Maybe it comes from taking "Staring at people is rude" to an extreme.
I have this habit to hum G/S/C Bicycle theme when I'm riding on a bicycle... :-\ Dunno why... I guess I want to live in the Pokémon world so badly. :P

I've recently taken to spinning toy guns around my fingers. I'm fairly sure it's a result of playing Snake Eater a lot. Ocelot is awesome.
I go through the intros of games twice. Once to figure out how other characters are named. For example, in Pokemon, I can't stand it when there's Prof. Oak and Mom, and then there's ZUNAWE and BLUE.
^Well in all Pokemon games up to Diamond and Pearl, all characters' names are in all caps. And then in Black and White, they finally made the Pokemon have proper capitalization.

I have a habit of biting the skin on my lips or whatever it is.
That randomly happens to me too, but Im pretty sure it has something to do with autumn.
I attract animals :3 Literally I dont even have to try and make friends with animals when I first meet them, they just kinda flock to me. Except squirrels.
I don't kill things, period. Like, seriously, I won't even kill cockroaches if they're in my house. I just let them go about their business. Which I'm guessing is weird.
Actually, I do have two exceptions to the rule. Mosquitoes and love bugs. Mosquitoes because if they bite me, it's an instant reaction to slap, and love bugs because they are the devil's insect. But besides that, I won't kill any living thing.
Yet, I still eat meat. God damn hypocrite.

I wake up in the morning hitting the air with my left hand - now, I actually got this checked awhile ago, and apparently the blood flow in my left arm basically sucks, so when it's not moving for a longer period of time, it want's to hit the air :P
What, like you wave your arm? Explain "hit the air".
My arms fall asleep if I lay on them funny. Maybe that's what you mean? Basically you can't feel them because of the lack of blood flow or they feel tingly.

Just hit the air, with your left arm - that's what's going on..
It's kinda like lack of blood in my arm - like i described - but not because I'm lying on it or anything - and it doesn't really fall asleep, it just hits the air
I don't get what that phrase means either. You mean that it's numb? There's no feeling to it?
Or are you saying that it's just kind of hanging there uselessly so all it's doing is touching air?
I will use short facial hair to scratch an itch on my arm/hand.
Nah that's pretty standard, i.e. late at night or early morning before shaving

Or are you saying that it's just kind of hanging there uselessly so all it's doing is touching air?
It needs movement, because it's been out of use for the night. So it automatically starts just hitting the air. No feeling. Or i've gotten used to it.
My arm will always be kinda useless for the first minutes, kinda like being numb - When I wake up, it is cold, and kinda heavy, and when it starts hitting the air, it instantly gets warm.
I don't know what happens if I don't hit the air, I haven't tried resisting - I don't really have a choice, it happens completely automatically.
What the fuck does "hit the air" mean XDDDD
Quote from: SlowPokemon on November 04, 2012, 06:02:39 AMWhat the fuck does "hit the air" mean XDDDD
I thought he meant kinda like slapping the air, like swapping away a fly, sorta-ish..
Okay, I think he means that it falls asleep because the circulation is cut off. "Hitting the air" could then mean one of two things:
1. When he begins moving it (around in the air), the blood flow starts again.
2. He swings his arm around to force the blood back into his arm. Like swinging a bucket of water in a circle.
^Or fistpumping involuntarily
It means to swing (hitting) my arm to force blood flow around again.
Bubbles is the closest guess
. . . You mean my second guess.
Haha I was just joking, but I think I know what you mean. Your arm gets all tingly and soon it starts to hurt and get cold, so you frantically swing your arm in all random directions to get the blood flowing again. That happens to me when I fall asleep with my arm hanging off the bed, and I always want to see what will happen if I let it stay for long enough but then I get scared that Ill hurt myself or something :P It just happens to you without cutting off a vein or something?
It's kinda like an OCD, just that it has nothing to do with anything mental, it's my arm automatically fistpumping, and I can't really resist - yeah it's weird, that's why i posted it here..

I've recently started listening to screamo.
And I enjoy it.
What has my life become.

Ew. If your going to listen to that kind of stuff, at least listen to actual metal and not it's cheap, whiny knockoff.

well, does it make it a little better if i said it was a video game soundtrack?
Yes.
Pleadies star?
Also what you like is what you like. If it happens to be Screamo (which btw sounds like a horror sequel to Pushmo) so be it.
Let's see...
I'm 6'7'' 5/8.
I hate sitting in chairs. Crouching or squatting is easier and more comfortable.
I use all the words for "no." that I know, without realizing that I'm doing it.
I can't stand sunlight or what others seem to think is good weather.
I always wear a winter coat when I leave the house, regardless of the temperature or season.
I love really long stories, and I can read very quickly. I also like Fanfic with Crack pairings.
I prefer music without lyrics, unless it is choir or chant.
I dislike socializing. And when I'm around people, I try to stay unnoticed.
I dislike talking.
I rarely smile, unless I'm with friends and family or I'm playing or listening to a good sad piece.
I've never felt anything that could be described as "Hatred".
Um... That's all for now.
Oh. I love weirding people out.

YES. I can agree with those, especially the ones in bold, although lyrics can be nice sometimes.
I dislike talking, unless I need to.
In public, I'm worried that people will make false or conceited judgements about me and stick to their "corrupted thoughts." :P

As is six foot seven inches tall? Or am I reading this wrong
I'm 4 foot 8 inches.
THATS ADORABLE :3
Quote from: Bubbles7689 on February 07, 2013, 02:03:45 PMAs is six foot seven inches tall? Or am I reading this wrong
Or 7 feet 6 inches. ;) But that would make him taller...
.... One apostrophe means feet, two means inches.....
Yes.
Six feet, seven inches.
Oh wow. Thats.. taller than everyone I know XD Do you have to duck when you go through doorways?
Sometimes.
I'm rather unaware of things, so I hit my head on lamps, fans (On and off), doorways, the ceiling in stairwells, those things on the top of doors in stores that make them close slowly, and the ceiling above my bed.
And I've only grown an inch a year from 5 years ago.
Quote from: UnknownKirbyMan on February 07, 2013, 02:14:54 PMYes.

Bow to the longest child ever? Or however that post went.
I had a friend in the military who was about that same height. Apparently the one thing about being tall was that he had to sleep with socks on because his blanket wouldn't reach all the way to his feet.
I wonder if they'll have me do that in the Air Force?
I used to always feel the need to have my feet parallel to the walls whenever I walked up/down my stairs/hallway.
I'm over it now though.
I don't get my foot and inches...
Imma just gonna go with 165cm XD
I always memorize my debit card number and security code.
That always surprises people, when I pay without actually using my card.
I don't do that often, but sometimes it's needed.

As long as they're not tall white women ;)
or is this some joke im missing
Quote from: Shadoninja on February 14, 2013, 12:35:45 PMI think I'm intimidated by strangers who are tall white men.
I would most definitely intimidate you.
Maybe I should post a picture...

I just remember something really weird about me. I don't have any visible on my arms and legs and all the girls ask me if I wax. XD ^^
My eyes change colour, it's annoying in art for self portraits. I've got ones of me with blue eyes and others with green. .-.

I was skimming and thought I read that your arms and legs weren't visible. Yeah, that's a thing that would be really freaking weird about you.

Really, you haven't? Mine does too - they are usually green during winter and spring, and changes to amber-orange during the summer, and then to brown during fall.
It is pretty common. Mine changes because of the seasons, but for others, eye color can change because of some catalyst, like a big shock or something heavy on one's body, like giving birth to a child.
But of course, most people only have one eye color throughout their lives.
It's due to lighting and melatonin content, mostly, I believe. The effect is most noticeable for people with hazel or grey irises. Based on your descriptions, you probably have hazel eyes, Jompa, and you probably have grey eyes, TheBoyWhoCriedWolf. The affects of changes in melatonin concentration are mostly noticed in iris colours in between brown and blue (at these colours, melatonin is too high or too low to make a great difference), just as hazel and grey are! But Jompa is correct in saying that things like stress and trauma can also have affects on it, but I'm not sure of whether the affects are immediate or gradual (probably the latter).
It's kinda cool during the summer, because I look like some demon or something :P
Mashi: *big long eloquent post about science*
Jompa: I look like a demon it's so cool!!!
;D

Good news, I have controlled my blood pressure to the point that I can see sexual things without nosebleeding.
Bad news, now I just nosebleed randomly.
I'm sure I mentioned this before but often when I'm sexually aroused by something I sneeze.
^I tend to arrange.
I'm serious

Done. Now that I actually came back to read it. :P
I also always find myself laughing my head off through horror movies. Alien, Child's Play, you name it.
lol what is wrong with you
"*person is murdered*
JDMEK5: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
I don't know. In Alien it was because the special effects were so bad.
The only one I didn't laugh through was Saw V (the only one I've seen so far). But one could argue that's more of a thriller than a horror.
