Hello!

I've moved some of my newer scores to dropbox from mediafire, because mediafire sucks. While doing so I've also reformatted them to the NSM standard (w/o the url though). I've also almost finished "Welcome to the World of Pokémon!" from PMD: Explorers.

Here are the new download links:
Title Screen [mid][pdf][mscz]
Route 10 [mid][pdf][mscz]
Seafolk Village Dungeon [mid][pdf][mscz]
Staff Credits/The End [mid][pdf][mscz]
Kecleon Shop/Stop Thief! [mid][pdf][mscz]
Songs from PMD: R&BRT (6~12 F Horns, Drumset & Timpani) [mid][pdf][mscz]
Following Stanley (Orchestra) [mid][pdf][mscz]

Additionally, I just realised I'd never told any of my future plans yet, so here's what I'm doing currently:
I'm now in the midst of arranging the entire Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers series' OSTs, which I'm affectionally calling "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers - Re-scored". Yes, very original. Anyway, I'm doing a sort-of play-the-game-and-arrange thing, where I'm playing (blind, for that matter) Explorers of Sky while doing arrangements along the way. So, if anyone wants me to arrange late-game songs, you're probably gonna have to wait a while, hehe. While I'm doing this I might detour a bit and do some other VGMs if I start to feel bored.

Oh, and if you spoil the game I'll kill you  ;)

That's all for now; happy listening (because Finale Notepad is a wonky old mess)!

Quote from: Trasdegi on September 17, 2017, 11:51:31 AMNice! You did lots of sun/moon, wich would certainly be appreciated to be fixed and submitted to the main site! oh, and the MSCZ of Title Screen links to the pdf. You also did some PMD tracks, that's nice too. You did lots of medleys too, that's fine, but know than they are no longer accepted on the main site, but you can post them there, of course. Oh, and not sure everyone here will like mediafire.
Thank you! Will consider re-formatting some of my scores to submit to the site (and also shift them to dropbox/google drive). Yah, I saw that post earlier, I wasn't planning on submitting most of those anyway.

Thanks for being open with your comments! I'm glad that some of my sheets are actually good, haha
When I arrange I normally just stay really close to reference material, and I just try to fix what sounds wrong along the way. Admittedly I don't delve too deep into many musical details, unless I do go through those while fixing up the score. Although I do appreciate the praise you've given me over my supposed abilities lol
And thanks for being so supportive of my work! The fact you want to help me grow really says something about you :)

Quote from: daj on September 18, 2017, 12:27:17 AMIf you don't mind, in a week or so, I'd like to get in contact with you on Skype or something to talk music - just as the awesome people who helped me when I first came did. ^^ When so much potential just overflows out of someone and you know they've got passion...ooh. That's inspiring.
Welp, I don't have a Skype account so there might be complications there. I think we should discuss this part over pm.

Quote from: daj on September 18, 2017, 12:27:17 AMAnd of course, with you being a Singaporean, at some point perhaps we could meet up and talk about music things. But that's something I'd presume you'd rather save for the far future xD
Maybe after my 'O' Levels end  ;)
Or not - IRL stuff's pretty touchy for me at this time.

Hello! This is my piano arrangement thread!

Medleys and/or non-piano stuff (and also complete list for PMD:ExR): http://forum.ninsheetmusic.org/index.php?topic=9833.0

Currently, I'm trying to learn Finale Notepad so mus. files might be a tiny bit wonky. Most of my older stuff is unplayable, or at the least quite hard (not to mention they're not formatted properly).

You can also find older arrangements on my YouTube Channel.

Have fun browsing!

Key:
- I'm planning on doing this.
- In progress...
- Done!
- Submitted!
- New arrangement
- Arrangements without stated instrumentation are assumed to be for solo piano.
- [Y] links are to YouTube videos of the arrangement stated (when stricken out, there's no video).

Understood! Just asking because of formatting issues which I didn't go quite deep into fixing when I imported my scores. Thanks!

Ah, so if I'm looking just to post an arrangement thread for the time being, it doesn't necessarily need to contain any .mus files? Or are those preferred regardless?

Thank you guys for the welcome messages!

Quote from: Dudeman on September 16, 2017, 11:35:55 AMOooo, did you know daj already? Or were you just aware of another Singaporean on the forums?
Nope, don't know him. Only knew he was another Singaporean here.

Quote from: daj on September 16, 2017, 03:04:47 PMahaha this is so singaporean i cant even <3
I love how you can feel the "stereotypical Singaporean secondary school student" aura emanating from me /s

Quote from: daj on September 16, 2017, 03:04:47 PMA part of me really hopes that you arrange PMD stuff that's playable in a live setting, hehe. I don't really like the PMD soundtrack, but piano arrangements of it just...work. Somehow. So if you'd ever like me to play something of yours, feel free to send it over and I'll see if I can't give it a read/record ;)
Heh, you'll kinda find most of my older stuff to be unplayable (or at least quite hard). I've attempted to make some arrangements which are at least easier but I get carried away really easy ;D Will send some stuff over if I feel it's worthy enough!

Quote from: Trasdegi on September 16, 2017, 11:48:16 AMI use MuseScore too, however if you want to submit anything to the site, you'll need a .MUS file. Don't worry, there's a thread dedicated to help with Finale NotePad. Feel free to ask any question here!
By submitting, do you mean to the actual main site or to the arrangement threads? Are they linked? I'm not really sure how that part works. I already saw that thread; it's the reason why I downloaded Notepad in the first place. I'll be happy to post some of my concerns there!

Looking forward to getting to know you guys too!

Hi people! I've known this site for a while now, so I thought it was finally the time to make an account. I'm also quite new to forums as a whole. Please forgive me for formatting problems/general awkwardness :)

Obligatory background info:
Name: Dillon
Age: 15yo
Gender: Boi
Languages: English and (really bad) Chinese.
Location: Singapore. (hi daj)
Instrument: French Horn (been in my school's concert band since Sec 1/7th Grade/13yo).
Favourite School Subject(s): English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry.
Favourite VGs: Probably anything Pokémon, though I'm not much of a gamer, to be honest.
Favourite VGMs: PMD, Portal 2, Undertale. Those stand out, but I enjoy VGM in general.
Other favourite things: Nature walks, school half-days and Birbs.

I'm planning on sharing some of my arrangements from Musescore but I'm completely inept at Finale Notepad. Until then I'll just lurk here for a while, lol
