As for the next step in the Search for Eden of the sheet, an Updater would have to accept it if everything's fine. Only thing you could do is update the submission files with the ones Bespinben shared above if you want.

The magic was great! :D Thanks again Bespinben!!

And I just did that - updated the files in my submission. Thank, Don!

(Hopefully responding from my phone doesn't ruin this reply haha)

But wow! I never considered the aspects that you have added to make the music flow even more. What you did is pretty amazing - incredibly so compared to the basic notes I submitted! It really does show the beauty and elegance that Koichi had put into the piece.

Thanks so much, Bespinben!! What would the next step in the submission process be? Since this was a big "evolution" (some pun intended, hence the game ;)) to the sheet music, should credit be added to it for you as well, do you think?

Help! / Re: How Long for Submission Acceptance?
August 30, 2015, 07:48:18 PM
Alright, makes sense - thanks guys!

And would there be any notification/note as to what mistakes there might be? My only guess for mistakes that I could have on mine is in the copyright portion, where I couldn't figure out how to add the site url with it. Would that probably stop the arrangement from being accepted completely?

Thanks again!

Help! / How Long for Submission Acceptance?
August 30, 2015, 03:11:17 AM
Hello!

This is not super related to "Help!," but I can't seem to find a better category to place this question. Also, with my lack of skill at searching through the forums, I couldn't seem to find the answer hiding anywhere in the site.

Anyways, I've submitted two sheets a few days ago, but they are still not yet accepted. How long does it typically take to have a submission accepted? Am I probably being too impatient? If there were any issues with the submissions, would I be notified?

Thanks, and sorry if this is a pointless question :)

Thanks everyone!

Wanted to respond earlier, but only could do so til now.

I tried out the Finale method, so I got Finale Notepad 2012 and imported my MusicXML file from MuseScore to Notepad. Played the song, and seems to have transferred well! I just exported to *.mus and *.mid, and also got to Print to PDF. So I got the files I need to submit!

Thanks again guys! I very much appreciate getting the help. It's a fun little hobby I've had on an off. Nice to be interested in it again :)

Hello all!

I'm a new member to the site, but a long time fan who has enjoyed the sheet music the community has brought throughout the years. I've decided I wanted to contribute by arranging some music from one of my favorite games: E.V.O. Search for Eden. Seems like there's a lack of sheet music for the game at the moment!  :-\

Anyways, to make my arrangement, I used the program MuseScore, which I'm sure most of you know/heard of it. The thing that is preventing me from submitting my arrangement is that I cannot export a *.mus or *.musx file from MuseScore. I *can* do other file formats, however, which are:
Uncompressed/Compressed MuseScore File( *.mscx/*.mxl)
*.pdf
*.png
*.svg
*.wav
FLAC Audio (*.flac)
Ogg Vorbis Audio (*.ogg)
*.mp3
*.mid
MusicXML File (*.xml)

And I can Save As with:
MuseScore File (*.mscz)
and the Uncompressed MuseScore File (*.mscx)

Does anyone know how to get MuseScore to export into *.mus? Or, how to convert one of these file types into *.mus? Or, perhaps even go through with my submission process, but without the need to upload a *.mus file?

Thanks for any help! I would love to share the my arrangement with those who enjoy this game! :)
