Hey, as you all know, I'm a ghost here.

Anyway, I've noticed that my old sheet Lost Woods for LoZ:OoT was replaced. I don't really mind or care, but I have seemed to misplace my own file of this sheet. I was wondering if any moderator had a log as to recover the file that was once on this website, or posted in my old submission forum.

Hi there.

I'm trying to open the Love Theme from Mother 3.
I get a very nonspecific error message saying my version of finale is too outdated to open it. Nonspecific in the sense that it doesn't tell me what version I need.
At the moment I'm running the updater, [didn't work] but I was wondering if anyone could simply save the sheet in a format that I'd be able to open it.
I tried the midi as well and it would require alot of tune up before it was playable again, comparing it to the midi I listened to in my browser.
Anyway, if anyone chooses to help with the opening problem, it would help to know my version of finale. It's 2008.

Alright... So Dekudude and I were talking... and we came to an absolute decision. The forums have gone to hell. People have discarded any moral decisions and completely ignore the rules. People shrug off warnings and temporary bans like nothing happened, as they haven't learned anything. This is the NinSheetMusic community, and we need to make it look professional. This isn't any random garbage forum on the internet, this is a well-oiled machine that has fallen on rough times. We need a new solution to people that decide to be part of the problem. I quote from Dekudude:

I was thinking maybe we could come up with some nice, high-quality police system, where we have a plethora of "decent" people navigate, and warn people when they do something wrong. If it's really bad, we might mute someone for a short while. Not too bad? Just let them know they are doing something wrong. NSM is a great place, but it still has a ways to go before it hits perfection. Let's clean it up!

What... The.. Fuck just happened with Super Metroid.


Okay, so I was doing the space/time glitch; in which you are in a room in Brinstar (The room where you get your 2nd missile pack) and you have to turn on the spazzer and the plasma beam at the same time. Now when I finally did it; it is Supposed to restart your stuff except you keep everything. So you can go back and fight the first bosses with the plasma beam and stuff. But you have to remove the glitching on the top screen first, and to do that you save and restart your game, not with the emulator save, with the game's save. So you go back into the metroid 1 motherbrain room and you go to the Tourian escape shaft; except when I did it, it induced the escape sequence in which I had already fought the motherbrain boss; and I haven't, and the acid started rising and when I eventually got to my ship I flew away and the credits rolled. I am working on getting pictures but I'd rather just be lazy and do it all in text.

I just wanted to let everyone know.

.MIDI files can be opened with Finale Notepad and up. They will become a Sheet, you will See all the parts on different staffs; no title and no arranger. Sometimes the instrument names will be messed up as well, but an easy way to fix this is to just make a blank document with all the titles and composers and arrangers and copyrights and whatever already made, and copy it.

If you already knew this, you don't need to make comments like "this is obvious" or something. It just seemed that the general audience didn't know this worked, because if people could find a .MIDI of the song they were looking for in request, then they could instead of asking for it here, they could get it themselves.

Hey, I'm bored and MapleStory isn't working so I decided to start something.

If you want to make a MapleStory Character, go to www.nexon.net and register, and later, when you have installed the game, remember to make your first character in the server named "Kradia". This is very important! Making your character in the newest server is good because there is always less hackers and less crowding in new servers. (And that is the server where I am in, if you want to message me if you really do this, my name is DaveyBowman).

Just Curious I guess. What do you prefer, Metallica or Megadeth? Or if you don't like metal you can choose neither.
