I know the song and instrument, I just don't know if I'll be able to do it.

I have something in mind, but with finals this week, I don't know if I'll have time.  I'll just have to wait and see.

Reviving this because I would greatly like some feedback.  Also, Windy is going well, but I am struggling to find the time.  After school is done in a couple weeks, it should be done.

Sorry, didn't notice that, the links have been fixed now.

I absolutely enjoyed that arrangement and would love to play it myself.  When you said a lot followed the Symphonic movement version, I didn't know that meant pretty much all of it, but that's a good thing.  The only critiques I have are probably due to your band.  First and foremost, there's no bassoon part.  However, you have no bassoon player so it's all good.  Also, being a French Horn player, I noticed the horn part wasn't represented quite as well as the symphonic movement version, particularly at 75-84 and various sections of Outset Island.  That being said, your horn section may be rather weak and thus couldn't handle such difficult parts.  Overall it was excellent and I look forward to hearing your future arrangements.

Also, if you wouldn't mind, please check out my arrangement of S.S. Anne for Horn Trio.  It was done on notepad so it doesn't follow coda patterns but they are written in.  http://www.ninsheetm.us/smf/index.php?topic=4222.msg139630#msg139630

I'm just hoping for some information at E3.  I'm so pumped for it, and I'm going to be gone all day during the conference.  ONLY 29 DAYS!

I trust that HAL will make great decisions, but I hope that they take full advantage of the incredible technology that powers both the Wii U and 3DS.  Also, they really need to prevent having clones of other characters.  They can keep the clone characters, but give them some individuality.  I'm also excited to see how much of Skyward Sword goes into it.  Ghirahim could be great, but how will they work in Demise?  Also, the stages will surely be awesome.

2010 version is up!  However, articulations and various shaping didn't transfer.

Thanks JDMEK5!  That looks a lot better.  As for people waiting on an older version of Finale, I should be able to get that done this weekend.

Nintendo / Re: A Little Question Regarding Zelda....

Yeah, I made the mistake of starting Zelda with Phantom Hourglass.  Eventually my friends convinced me to get Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask on the virtual console.  Best $20 ever spent.

I was really hoping they would make it for the 3DS.  It seems that the limits of the DS's capabilities have been reached.  I do hope that they take some risks with these because frankly there needs to be a big change to the pokemon formula, even if it's something like 3D character models.

Yes, it was done in notepad 2012.  I actually just got songwriter 2010, I just haven't had time to install it yet.  When I do I'll post it as a 2010 file.

MUCH MUCH MUCH later I finally have a new arrangement to present to you guys!  I have been hard at work for this for quite some time and it is finally done.  I present to you, The Legend Comes to Life (Lugia's Song) arranged for Horn Sextet

[GB] Pokemon R/B/Y - S.S. Anne (Horn Trio) - .mus - Finale 2010 Version

Note:  The 2010 version, unfortunately, doesn't have the articulations, dynamics, or time shaping.

The Legend Comes to Life (Lugia's Song) - Horn Sextet - .mus

As usual, comments and critiques are greatly appreciated!

Quote from: Shadoninja on February 07, 2012, 07:40:33 PMI wonder if that would mean you can basically comprehend anything.
Infinite knowledge?  That could end badly.  Trust me, I watch cartoons.
