CHAPTER 1

   Two days after the dare, Joe and Robby are helplessly lost in an endless maze of twisted hallways and doors, sprinkled like sprinkles on a cake.
     ...Wait, a little too far into the book, let’s go back about three days to the start of the story okay?
   Let’s introduce Joe first, Joe Quintson is just a normal kid in 7th grade that likes to play as much as work. He lives in a small town called Whatsit, Arkansas.  Joe is tall with short brown hair.  Now, Robby Carton on the other hand is a lazy slob who does not like to work at all, just play video games all day.  Robby has crazy red hair, and, is little on the chubby side.  Although Joe and Robby are the same age and nothing alike, they are still the best of friends. 
   The story starts one day during school; Joe and Robby are eating lunch.  After a few minutes one of the schools nerds comes up to them and says,
   â€œHey have you two ever been the house down on 5th street? People are saying that it is haunted,” He stops to push up his glasses, then he starts to leave, but comes back to finish. 
   â€Freddie wants to see you after school behind the dumpster, time for the yearly beating.” Joe and Robby exchange looks. 
   â€œMe or Joe?” asked Robby
    “Both of you,” answered the nerd, “After school, then behind the dumpster, be there or get pounded worse!” And walks off.
   â€œMan, we are going to get it if we go and get it if we don’t,” complained Joe, “how do we get out of this one, Rob?”
   â€œDunno,” replied Robby. The two doomed kids finished lunch and went to class.  When school was over they went to the dumpster and waited for Freddie to come.
After about ten minutes they hear a voice.   
“Hello” said the deep voice, “ready for your pounding?”  Robby and Joe looked up and saw Freddie looking down from the dumpster.
 â€œHello,” said Robby and Joe both scared.
Freddie jumped down to greet them. 
Robby and Joe both asked, “what do you want this time Freddie?” 
“I want you to stay the night in the haunted house, just to see how long you can handle it, and to see if the rumors are true.” 
He replied, “Do it or suffer nuggies, atomic wedgies, and a free trip to... The sewer!”
 â€œAAAAHHHH!” screamed Robby and Joe as Freddie starts to come towards them pounding his fists together.
As they are running Robby states, “Lets just stay at the house so we don’t get hurt.”
Joe thought about it for a second, “Sure why not.” 
They stop and Freddie reaches them out of breath and asks, ”So what is your answer?”  “We’ll do it,” Joe replies.


Chapter2
That night Robby shows up at Joe’s house and asks, “You ready?”
“Yeah.” answered Joe.
As they start out to leave Joe asks, “Did we get everything?”
 â€œLet me see... Flashlight, food, TV, heater, sleeping bags, cell phone, Yeah I think so.” Answers Robby.
 As they go Joe thinks out loud: “Why did we do this, why, why, why, why, why!?”
 â€œWhat did you say?” asked Robby.  “Nothing” Joe replied casually.
When they got there it was a quarter to nine, and dark. 
They walked up the stairs of the house and, “I almost forgot,” said Robby as he stopped to reach in his knapsack, “this book says to go out of any real haunted house every three hours.”
 â€œWhy did you get that Rob?” Joe asks.
 â€œI got it after the nerd said it was haunted.” Robby explains. 
“So you actually think that it’s haunted?”
Joe said in a suprised, mocking voice, “I can’t believe you think that it is haunted!” 
Robby said a little bit angry, “So, it could be!” 
“Well I think that it is too.”  Joe answered sheepishly.
They go inside and set up camp next to the fireplace. 
“Okay, let’s see... The Thing, Sixth Sense, Chuckie 1and 2, The Others, Lord of the Rings 1,2,and 3 all extended, and Ice Age.” Mumbles Robby. 
“What are all of those for?” asks Joe. 
“Tonight, we can watch movies all night so we don’t have to sleep.” Replies Robby. 
“But we really should get some sleep, right?”  Asks Joe.
 â€œI guess you’re right Joe, but after we watch some movies.  So, what first?” asks Robby with a grin.
Three hours after the 1st Lord of the Rings it is 11:43.  Robby asks Joe if he has the time
 â€œYeah, it is... 11:43,” Robby sits there wide-eyed and pale.  Joe asks, “What is wrong?” 
“We were supposed to go out almost an hour ago.” Robby Screams. 
“So what happens now?” Joe questions.  Robby retrieves the book from his knapsack, flips though and answers:
“The ghosts will re arrange the interior of the house, but only if people are in the house.” 
“So is that bad?” asks Joe. 
“Yes it is bad, how do we get out if we can’t even find the door, huh?” Robby replies irritated.
“Robby, we should get some sleep.”  Instructed Joe.
 â€œRight,” says Robby.
Chapter 3
   As Joe and Robby wake up, Joe goes over to the window to look at where the door is.  When he sees where it is he just stands at the window staring out of it. “Robby,” Joe calls, “you need to come and see this.”  As Robby starts to walk over to the window he starts to see what the problem is.  When he gets there he just stares like Joe and says:  “This is impossible, the house is only a 2 story building and THE ROOM IS ON THE 4TH FLOOR!”

just to be honest... Sonic and Snake are the two worst characters that nintendo has to put in a game like this yet.
