Hi I've had a poll on my arrangement thread, and now it's over. So I want to make a new poll but how do I do that??

Ok just finished Only the Night Sky Knows! I'm impressed myself! It sounds incredibly beautiful as the song itself! And when you look at the sheet you'll see that I used some cool beaming 8). I couldn't fit in the lyrics :-\ but in the end it's a piano arrangement so it's not important. :)

Quote from: cqk328 on July 12, 2015, 11:16:24 AMThanks! :D I have definitely considered getting Finale. But $600...that's a lot. Unless there's a cheaper, older version, or the trade up option works for Notepad, I'm probably not gonna get it.

Something I and Maelstrom didn't mention: There are more than just notepad and the full version. There are the "middle versions" too: Printmusic and Songwriter. :)

Here are all the products: http://www.finalemusic.com/products/

Quote from: Maelstrom on July 12, 2015, 08:51:16 AMDang. You are good at this.
You should really invest in a full version of Finale, btw.

Y, that's the best. But if you think it's too expensive you could use musescore and import/export files to finale notepad to create mus. files, it's a free notating program that, if got it right, is somewhat better than notepad. I don't know how this work since I don't use musescore (I use the full version 2014) but I know that there are some people that have moved from using finale notepad to musescore so you can ask those people for help concerning musescore. :)

I was going to say something like "you should add some text saying 3,2,1 GO!" but when I looked at the game it seems like the Lakitu just makes red, red, green and more count down 3, 2, GO! so I don't know. Do it if you want to.

Quote from: DonValentino on April 21, 2015, 03:53:54 AMRe-arranged my old "Ganon Battle"! You can find the old, hideous and totally outrageous version on the site for comparison!

[GBC] The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages

Nice done! I noticed that the song needed a replacement, and was going to do one myself. But now I don't need to, because your arrangement looks flawless. :)

My top 5 wish list:

1. Any Falcon player - Captain Falcon is the Best!
2. Leffen - cause he lives in same city as me (Stockholm).
3. Armada - same country (Sweden).
4. Mang0 - because he can do just absurd things like the video above shows.
5. Mew2King - Sick edge-guards and 0-deaths. But I don't know if he will enter.

Help! / Re: Emulating Percussive Sounds?

I would not do them pizzicato, but arco with staccato. And ignore the snare drum, and make the basses play mostly quarter notes but with some grace notes, like what the bass drum plays.
