I cannot think of a single AP champ that would not r**e her in mid. Against AD she is fine, I guess...

Yes, whenever I am Plat 1 and about to get Diamond I get some weird 10 game losing streak and drop to Plat 2 again :D And then it all starts over and over again!

Quote from: Bespinben on January 09, 2015, 10:44:19 PMEdit: On the topic, this request is slightly piquing my interest. Will think about it.

Please no! I want to play it! :D

Quote from: Bespinben on January 09, 2015, 10:52:27 PMThere's a pretty coll video of someone playing both my Trainer Battle and Gym Leader Battle sheets.

Looks like a piece of cake :D

I see so many keyboard and digital pianos in youtube videos... Why :( Since I played a real piano for the first time there is no going back :D

I really love your arrangements. They sound really authentic. Good job, friend. One day I will play them. Promised! Stop laughing, I am serious.

I just had a look at the pokemon battle sheets and I don't know why you are not getting banned.

Forum rules say:

-No posting (...) disturbing images, or links to such content.

Looks pretty disturbing to me! Love it :D

Quote from: Bespinben on January 09, 2015, 10:19:46 PMThat said, I would recommend trying a very simple song first. A song where you can each part very clearly. 8-bit music is usually good for that (Gameboy, NES, etc.).
Maybe as a warm-up, try writing out the Dungeon theme of the original Zelda: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMssCMqMHuk
(It's actually only 2 parts, so that makes it even easier)

Actually 8-bit music sounds like a great idea for my first attempts. Thank you!

Quote from: Bespinben on January 09, 2015, 10:19:46 PMIt might help if we confess that when we speak of "making an arrangement" on this forum, we are really meaning to say "to make a transcription", meaning to recreate the original song as closely as possible. In that light, the guide you linked to probably won't be very helpful.

Well of course my goal would be the get it as close to the original as possible. I would never simplify a song just so I can play it. I would make it as hard as possible and just practice until I can finally do it! Can you actually play your own arrangements (by using your whole body of course)? :D

My god I just realized I can connect my piano to Finale NotePad... Holy ****! I love 21st century.

Quote from: NocturneOfShadow on January 09, 2015, 10:09:16 PMI've been playing piano for 10 years and I still can't play bespinben's stuff

When he linked one arrangement and said "use your full body" I thought he was kidding. Then I saw the arrangement...

Germany here (Am I the only one?). How precise and up to date is that map? :D Would really like to know where you guys are from.

Quote from: JDMEK5 on January 09, 2015, 03:35:54 PMIt's not just you. This game is amazing with an amazing soundtrack. Actually I'll jot this down that I should do a Two Pianos version if I ever get bored.

Even though I would prefer a solo version for myself an additional version for two pianos would be awesome. I love that Gourmet race duet!! Another awesome kirby theme!
I am happy that I already found two people who are willing to do this. Since none of you is bespinben I am also optimistic I will be able to play this with a lot of practice some day :D

Okay, you guys just convinced me to even spend more time onto music by trying to arrange on my own (damn!)! Thank you for all the response and feedback.

Quote from: braixen1264 on January 09, 2015, 06:24:09 PMWell my arrangements so far are just me sitting at my piano for hours trying to get the right notes and put them in notation form in Finale.

I imagine, this will be my start, too, since only by ear I cannot identify any note at all! Is that actually something that will improve when arranging, too?
I will start off by reading this guide about arranging and then maybe give it a first try. First I should get used to english music terms I guess...
You guys can recommend any other free literature (beginner guide) or some free software to get started? Otherwise I'd start with Finale Notepad 2012.
