Changing from Db to C# from beats 3 to 4 looks really misleading to someone reading it (at least me). It looks like it's descending, but it's not.

This is all up to the new host/judge panel to decide. But I'd suggest sticking mainly to two themes, tossing in original material and references to other tracks as you please so long as, as Maestro said, they don't detract from the focus.

I just 100%ed my first game! It's my childhood copy of Kirby Mass Attack. It took a while because the only levels I wanted to replay are the minigames around the outside of the third world (surfing, pinball, etc.) but I eventually did it! Fite me at the surfing minigame you will get 100% rekt

Argh I'm at 94% lol. Got all the medals and extras but never completed the checklist or got all gold medals... (I did spent a ridiculous amount of time playing the pinball minigame in the Extras lol)

Yeah that's sort of what I'm getting at here. "The Battleship Halberd: On Deck", "Halberd ~ Nightmare Warship", or simply "The Halberd" all sound okay to me (as titles), but I'd need someone with some experience from the game to help point out what makes the most sense in the context of the game. I've never played Kirby Super Star, lol.

If all else fails, I'll just pick what title is the most concise. But some help would be appreciated, regarding when/where this plays in game.

I'm hearing fourth intervals at (RH) m1 beat 3.5, m3 beats 1 and 2, and same places in the following system. (Though they sound kinda weird when I put them in Finale...)

As for the title, where's your source? I was inclined to go with Tobbeh's translated title from the Japanese album.

I specifically put it in the right hand for easier reading. I believe it's much easier to read if it's shown along side the melody.
I mean, I don't see a problem with those accent-tenutos.

I beg to differ. I don't have a problem with cross-staffing here (although I would advise against it), but this bothers me:

I feel like putting an accent-tenuto on every note defeats the purpose of the articulation.

If you really want the top melody to be emphasized, I really don't think putting an articulation on every note is the best way to go about it. Articulation is good, but when overused, it just clutters things up and loses its value.

Also, last note in first system is misaligned.

Also, the title as I have it is "The Battleship Halberd: On Deck" as per Tobbeh's suggestion from the Kirby Super Star Ultra soundtrack; can anyone who's played KSS confirm this is a fitting title?
