Quote from: nutella511 on October 05, 2016, 05:30:45 PMThe main thing you need to do is FORMATTING.
I'm aware of the guidelines, but the software I'm using (iWriteSheetMusic for iPad) doesn't have any font options. Sucks, but I'm still learning how to use MuseScore for Mac.

No one seems to have taken up "Dark Manor". I just listened to part of the track, and it seems attainable. Maybe I could work on that? I could probably have it done sometime between two weeks from now to a month at the maximum.

Guess who procrastinated on their homework to get their arrangement finished on time?
Here ya go ;)

Some notes..

-When playing this, it is crucial that you pay as much attention to which notes are stacatto and which ones aren't. Because the baseline is the Harpsichord, it makes all the more difference in sound when listening to it and playing it.
-In the beginning of the song, there's an impossible scale to play where each note is a 32nd note, and after that there is a series of F, E Flat, and E Natural notes. My advice for this part is to play as much as you can for the first measure, and for the F, Eb, and E notes, you can either trill them without counting, or you can do a chord with the three notes each measure it is in.

Let me know what I did right and what I did wrong, or if I should add anything. It was fun being a part of this project :)

Just letting you folks know in advance, if it turns out to be a triple-tie, my vote will decide it. I'll arrange them all eventually, so don't be upset if what you voted for lost. :)

Most of the songs I upload to NSM are in direct relation to what I do on my YouTube channel, if people didn't already notice. As such, some results of that are the songs I choose to arrange they are not part of arrangement projects on NSM, and the fact that you can see my real name on the sheet music, which I have tended to in this update. To save you some time, the arrangements that are included in this update are "The 13th Dilemma" (Two Pianos) from Kingdom Hearts II (to commemorate the 13th video on my channel), and "The Silver Bullet of Revenge", to commemorate the release of "Azure Striker GUNVOLT 2" in North America last week. An interesting note about that song is that it is the theme of a character that was an antagonist in the first game, and is now a playable character in the second game. Also, to those of you who are also contributors to the "Kirby's Epic Yarn" arrangement project, I am now announcing that the song I volunteered to arrange, the "Dark Manor" theme, is about half-way complete. Thanks to school and other activities, I haven't had a lot of time to work on it recently.

It's been a while since I updated my arrangements, and since I really don't have too much time on my hands as of late, there are only two new arrangements here- both from the Final Fantasy series.

Expect to see three or four more new arrangements by this time in about two weeks. On the way, I have piano arrangements of "The 13th Dilemma" (KH2), "Beyond the Wasteland" (FFVII: AC), and "Vim and Vigor" (KH2). Look forward to it, maybe? In addition, I have revised my arranger name. Now, I may sound a bit full of it with this name, but if you check me profile, you will see that my arranger name has been changed to "TheArtistFormerlyKnownAsAdam".

Also, if you saw the Thread talking about the "Kirby's Epic Yarn" Arrangement Project, then you may have seen me on it. I will be arranging the theme "Dark Manor". Look forward to it!

And the keysig comment is meant to help you correct what you have.

You do what you want, I'm not going to discourage you! But as mentioned above, I am still working on my own version.

How long have you been working on it for? Do you have an idea of when it'll be complete, or a deadline?

Quote from: Latios212 on July 31, 2016, 09:25:28 PMHave you listened through the whole original? The instrumentation changes significantly between verses, not to mention there are instrumental breaks and additional verses.

By the way, the song starts out in C# minor - 4 sharps.
So is that your way of saying "redo the song"?

Well I mean I probably could revise it a bit and include all of the lyrics but it would be very time-consuming and confusing for a performer to play.

It's already been done. By me, actually. I wrote all of the lyrics in, or at least I think that was all of them. I could be wrong.

This is actually the first time I'm starting a personal arrangement thread. These arrangements were mostly for my YouTube channel (Not advertising, Mods, I swear), and so I thought I'd help you guys out and put them here. Since I don't currently have the necessary software to give you the MIDI and MUS files, I just posted the links to my YouTube videos where I do demos of them (still not advertising I SWEAR). Let me know what you think of them and reply to this. I'm still getting started on this whole arrangement thing, and I've got more stuff on the way, since the number of arrangements I have now is microscopic compared to other arrangers.

Quote from: Latios212 on May 22, 2016, 06:49:34 PMMIDIs generally don't import into Finale well. If you can generate an XML file, that would be better.

Also:I know this was a while ago but I do intend on completing my own version.

How do I generate an XML file?
This thread made me realise I know absolutely nothing about file conversions XD
#45
Would it be possible if I provided the PDF and MIDI files (I currently have both) but someone else converts it into a MUS file for me? Or is it something only the arranger of the song can do?
