Music / Gerudo Valley - Guitar (Critique needed)
April 27, 2008, 06:03:04 PM
I arranged the Gerudo Valley theme for Solo Guitar and Guitar Duet. I need some critique. I play guitar a little, but not well enough to play these. I just used my small amount of knowledge about the guitar to write them. I'd really like someone who plays guitar really well to tell if I need to change anything. The ending is a little weird I know.

Gaming / What Game Systems do you have?
April 07, 2008, 05:18:36 PM
I have....

An NES (Actually some emulator thing called a Yobo...apparently Nintendo forgot to renew copyrights on the NES)
A Super Nintendo
A Nintendo 64
A Nintendo Gamecube
A Nintendo Wii
A Gameboy Color (Special pikachu edition...there are only a few of them)
A Gameboy Advance (I kind of gave it to my little brother....)
A Nintendo DS
A Playstation 2
An Xbox (I've gotta get the disc drive fixed, because it won't open)
A PC (If it counts.)

This is the result of 10 and half years of gaming!!!! I might eventually list all my games......but yea....that would take a while.

April 03, 2008, 11:05:04 AM
YAYZ!!! I've never played Final Fantasy IV before, and from what I hear it is one of the best of the FF games. I bought Final Fantasy III DS last the weekend it came out, and LOVE it! I just got my new issue of NP today, and the cover story is FF4DS. It looks INSANE!!!!! I wonder if I can make the wait seem to go faster if I freeze myself until July????? *goes to boot up cryostasis tank*

Music / 16-Bit - Tracklist updated 4/4/08
April 01, 2008, 08:04:15 AM
The local music store where I live is putting in a recording studio ^_^. Since I know the guy that owns the place he gave me a tour, and said when it's finished they would record some stuff for me. I had been playing around with an idea already. This is 16-Bit. A CD of me playing piano arrangements of songs from 16-Bit games. The SNES was my first system, and it still rocks! What I would like, is for you to suggest some good songs. They can be from any game from the 16-bit era. (Genesis included) I'll be arranging all the tracks myself, and may post some of them on the site. I'll list the ones I'm already going to do below.

Super Mario World
Super Mario World Medly

LoZ: A Link to the Past
Ending Theme Part 1 & 2
Darkworld Theme (Maybe)

Final Fantasy IV
Normal Battle

Final Fantasy VI
Kids Run Through the City Corner
Fanfare
Medly (Maybe)

Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Emerald Hill Zone

Megaman 7
Boss Theme Medly (Maybe)

Donkey Kong Country
Jungle Swing
Donkey Kong Country Theme

Shining Force: A Legacy of Great Intentions
Shining Force Medly

Various Ideas I'm thinking of possibly doing
SNES Medly
Something from Super Metroid
Something from Super Mario RPG
Something from Mario Kart
Something from Kirby's Dreamland 2
Something from Harvest Moon
Something from Breath of Fire 2

Some of you may remember a piano composition that I had done a while ago called, Village in a Field of Flowers. Well this is an arrangement I did of it with multiple instruments. I want to know if you think it needs some bass instrument like a cello, to balance the notes.

Gaming / What's with Square-Enix and mobile phone?
March 01, 2008, 07:48:21 AM
Don't take me wrong. I hold Square-Enix in high regards. They are one of the all-time greatest video game companies EVER! But, what's with them and making mobile phone games? They made Final Fantasy VII: Before Crises for mobile phone, and now they are making Kingdom Hearts: Coded for phone. Why are they making so many phone games? And more importantly where do you get them? What network supports them?

Feedback / I've got a great idea!
February 28, 2008, 03:02:06 PM
I've got an idea. Since a lot of the sheets are missing and the site is kind of messed up right now, why don't we use this as a chance to clean up some of the cruddy sheets? We had been talking about doing this for like....months! We rearrange some of the cruddy sheets, fix some of the broken ones, and make .mus's of all the .sibs! We have plenty of sheets that need to be redone. Like "Kokiri Forest" for example (Sorry, no offense G-Han!) I've already redone a few of them (Working on Kokiri Forest actually...) so I'll get them in as soon as JaMaHa has got the site ready for new stuff. I'm mean, this is a great chance to do it! I'll list the sheets below that I've already rearranged or are in progress right now. (I'll try to get links to the mus's up too.)

Animal Crossing

Only Me (Finished)
Town (Pending)

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Kokiri Forest (Pending/In Progress)
Market Theme (Pending)

Super Smash Bros. Melee

Dreamland (In Progress)

Pokemon: Red, Blue, Yellow

Pokemon Battle (Sib to Mus conv. in progress)
