I like playing pretty much every sport, so that isn't saying much.

The person below me...will die someday.

Evolution would make a lot more sense.

What if 1 = 2?

Quote from: universe-X on November 09, 2009, 08:05:55 PM^^ @Magus, i like your thoughts, but your last two steps were wrong.

2b = b

You can still combine like terms across equations and inequalities.
Take, for example,
...
First:
2x•47 + 6 - y = 5x

Subtract 2x from both sides

47 + 6 -y = 5x"

umm...this WAS math...

rofl, sorry that was funny tho.

2x•47 + 6 - y = 5x if we subract 2x from both sides there are two things you can do(and yes you can do this)

A: 2x•46 + 6 - y = 3x
B: 92x + 6 - y = 3x

Now the real problem is when we divide by zero, if we break this rule, we can do whatever the crap we want...What is "divide (a - b) from both sides" going to do if A and B are equal? (a - a) = ?(hint: 0) which makes it undefined.

hmm, the staccato makes it hard...

I was thinking of doing a rendition of Terra's theme, my rendition goes as low as the lowest G, and as high as the 2nd highest A#.(From a standard piano). However, again, the piece does not have staccatos, but it is well known. And the piece is done in about 1.5 mins if not repeated, although I tend to repeat once.

Another option might be To Zanarkand. choose your octaves, it won't sound quite optimal if you want to go really low(If you are playing the right hand really high) and visa versa, but you can be either high or low.

OH, I got it. Gilgamesh with the Intro, for the intro do the classic CDG, starting as low as you want to start for purposes of the piano and go as high as you can for the same reason. The piece has staccatos and legatos, has varying dynamics, and it can use the pedal.

I like it nice and cold, a little windy, always good.

I love it after it rains...but I don't like it is in the process of raining.

Now, I am going to prove, 1=2

Let's say a = b
Now in a few steps I will prove to you that 1 = 2
a = b
a^2 (squared)= ab: multiply both sides by a
a^2 - b^2 = ab - b^2 : subtract b squared from both sides
(a - b)(a + b) = b(a - b): factor
a + b = b : divide (a - b) from both sides
b + b = b : substitute b for a because they're equal
2b = b : add like terms
2 = 1 : divide both sides by b

I'm gonna prove that 0,99999999999999..... is exactly the same as 1.

Let's say x = 0,99999999999999......
Then 10 x = 9,9999999999999999....
10 x - x = 9 x
9x = (10 x - x) = 9,999999999999999.... - 0,9999999999999........ = 9
Then x = 1

Great, right?

Ok, good ideas, always good to see some creativity.

Now, for starters, you mean .999999999999..., now we will work assuming that.

Now then, 10 x .9999 = 9.9990

10x - x = 9x

9.999-.9999= 8.9991

9x = 8.9991, divide that by 9 and you get

x = .9999 - works like a charm.

Now what is different with this situation? It is a repeating decimal, that is ok, it means you put a 8.999...1

Have fun with math.

I would think it is funny, and lose the game.

What if the game was all that mattered in life?

Nooo, don't remind me! *cries in the corner of the room*

Magus was rather cute, while Kefka is just the best villain ever.

My biggest question is...why the heck was Gilgamesh working for ExDeath by the time you got to the 3rd encounter, I mean...He almost could've beaten ExDeath, and had the Excalipoor been the Excalibur...ExDeath would have been SSOOOO dead. In addition, Gilgamesh had the crap beaten out of him the last two times he fought your guys.

Yea, Magus was kinda cute...

The one reason why I don't like Kefka is...his being overpowered in taking all the espers...that didn't make any sense, nor him knowing about the standing in the center of the warring triad when it was gestahl who studied the whole thing.(As a side-note, the warring triad were the crqppiest crap ever, each one was soloable by a decent party)
