No, I said those were what I planned to do. I like to balance my time between arranging and writing my own music.

You mean a tacet? You can't do that during a playback.

If there's something more specific, like having the singer read their own line, you can mute the entire part.

Other than that, it's not possible to my knowledge.

Dont make an arrangement, make your own piece. Otherwise it will be seen as a strange performance. By writing your own composition in this style, you can control how the music proceeds...there will be no limits.

That's just my suggestion, as it is only an experiment.

Back on topic:
I just got a crazy idea; I do a song using just my left hand... Record each part and do a sort of 'self duet' sorta like this. Might be weird to do that, just because my right arm may jump in because it'll feel left out

That's been done before...look up concertos written for the left hand, you'll find at least two or three. Though it is an interesting take on it...just don't make simple and "tinkly". Good Luck.

From the Desk of Nintendude73: Tetris A Theme rejected, needs even more 8va, some messy sections, really making me question the argument of impossible vs. just very hard... oh, and the URL is wrong and the game title font is too large.  Yes, I'm being picky.

Overworld also rejected.  While I appreciate your take on the song, the idea of the site is to provide sheet music for the actual song, not a flourishy arrangement.  URL was also wrong.

Maestro: Tetris is fixed...to the extent where I don't overcrowd an already busy sheet.

Nintendude73: Tetris is now accepted.  It looks phenomenally better.  Still incredibly difficult, but I don't spot anything physically impossible, so it's accepted.

Well this is a strange topic...I prefer D minor, or A major, or C minor...can I just say all?

I understand what you're saying, and I know I need lessons, but actual teachers have given me compliments on my technique and are amazed tat the fact that I'm self taught. What I'm really worried about are theory lessons.

And on the software topic, I can't tell you how many pieces I've written on paper, but it's an amazing feeling to have when you finish writing a piece by hand.

Wow, I recieved a complement from Brassman...thanks. I know some of the chords used are over done, but I've only been arranging for a month. I'm more of an orchestrator in that respect. Thanks again.
