Yep. There's a possibility Isshu will be based on something in the US... I'm guessing Washington... cause there's a desert in mid-Washington (between mount rainier and outside of Spokane)

I read somewhere that it was based on an area in Japan... we'll see.

It isn't. The first four were based on parts of Japan, and this place is "somewhere far away", meaning it's based on a different area of the world. ;P Unless I'm mistaken.
