Midi Problem

Every once in a while, when I try to put a midi into NotePad, it "encounters an error" and needs to close. Is there a way to fix this? if it doesn't happen with better version, can you give me the Finale-ed version of this midi?

That's been happening to me too and I have PrintMusic. My theory is that it has something to do with the midi and/or this year's finale.
